Former Cat George Stevens will play for the @FC_Tasmania AFL club in 2028. He’s committing beyond the VFL in 2027 and will formally put pen to paper when the rules allow down the track. And with that, the first (known) player who will be on the Devils inaugural AFL list in 2028. @7AFL @1116sen @7NewsMelbourne

Essendon and Richmond will be taking Dreamtime to Perth in 2027. It will be a second Dreamtime game. First in SDNR at the MCG, the second at Optus in NAIDOC week. The two clubs are selling a game each to generate cash. It’s a two year deal - Essendon home game in 27, Richmond in 28. But - members are expected to have extra seating arranged at away MCG games to make up for the home game heading West. More on @7AFL @7NewsMelbourne shortly.
