Our weekly inference usage has surged 38.86% in just seven days.
Between October 12–18 and October 19–25, we recorded a substantial acceleration in inference demand across our infrastructure.
- 5.86 billion tokens processed, up from 4.22 billion
- +1.64 billion additional tokens processed week-on-week
- +38.86% growth in total inference usage
- 837 million average daily tokens, up from 603 million
- 25.1 billion tokens in projected 30-day usage, based on our latest weekly run rate
This acceleration is being driven in part by our latest enterprise deployments, which are bringing increasingly substantial workloads onto Dot's inference infrastructure, alongside significant demand for Dot Motion following its recent launch.
Together, these developments are expanding our inference footprint across both enterprise and consumer applications, demonstrating the growing demand for private, cost-efficient AI infrastructure as we continue to diversify the workloads and revenue opportunities supported by Dot.

why is base:0x23a2847d772803f9efc64b4277b782b06296fe51 important?
clicking incognito on Claude doesn’t mean shit except ur chat isn’t “saved” or used to “train models” (supposedly)
• your chats are still read by humans with poor PII scrubs.
• they can and do send them to law enforcement, even private health info.
• they use “context” of your private chats as a loophole to target ads using your health info.
you could be dying of cancer, and to frontier labs that’s “the context of this persons chat shows their state of mind is one of acute vulnerability and fatalism, so let’s target our ads to that”. yeah.
privacy in ai is of greater import than almost any type of privacy, because it can encompass every facet of your life.
when I talk to people about how they chat with models, very few have the discipline to say… never talk about their children, or use language structure that exposes their subconscious emotional wiring, or use the names of family members.
these are things you should never ever do unless the model is OS on your own hardware. but again, it takes hard rules & discipline to do this and most lack that.
privacy ai is the fix. when the frontier lab hacks come - and they will come - a lot more people will realize just how important it is.

We've expanded the agentic capabilities of Dot Desktop even further, introducing a fully integrated, private native browser
Dot now has its own browsing environment, allowing agents to independently navigate websites, interact with page elements, complete workflows and visually inspect their results, without interfering with your existing browser sessions or browsing activity
This brings another fundamental capability into Dot's execution environment, giving agents the ability to research, compare products, navigate services, interact with web applications and carry out multi-step tasks directly within their own isolated browsing session
The best part? No need to re-install, the update is already pushed to your app.
We're continuing to push the boundaries of what a private AI harness can do, bringing more of the tools required for genuine agentic execution into one interconnected environment.

This panic makes no sense.
Today's market crash looks like a massive overreaction when you look at what's actually happening.
Investors are worried that Democrats will use their control of Congress to impose major restrictions on AI, especially data centers.
But there are a few important things being overlooked.
1. AI is now a major part of the U.S. economy.
According to research from the St. Louis Fed, AI-related investment categories accounted for around 39% of U.S. economic growth during the first three quarters of 2025.
Now imagine what happens if the government suddenly introduces restrictions that force companies to cancel data centers, reduce spending and cut thousands of jobs.
It wouldn't just hurt Nvidia, AMD or other AI stocks. It could also slow down the entire U.S. economy.
And Democrats know this.
They have another election coming up in November 2028.
If their policies lead to slower growth, fewer jobs and a weaker stock market, voters could punish them in those elections.
That's why a complete shutdown of AI development seems highly unlikely.
2. Democrats can't simply pass whatever laws they want.
Republicans still control Congress until January 3, 2027.
Even after Democrats take over, Trump can veto legislation, and overriding him requires a two thirds majority in both chambers.
Democrats don't have enough votes to do that on their own.
They can block Republican legislation, but passing major new federal AI restrictions would require Trump's support or enough Republican votes.
Of course, state governments can still restrict data center development through permits, electricity rules and other regulations.
But regulating the industry and completely stopping its growth are two very different things.
3. Some of this selling could simply be profit taking.
Just yesterday, stocks rallied sharply as investors hoped the election results would bring more clarity and possibly improve the chances of ending the Iran war.
Now that optimism has disappeared almost overnight.
With AI valuations still high and companies spending billions on infrastructure, some investors may be using these rallies to reduce their exposure.
That doesn't necessarily mean the entire AI trade is collapsing.
4. Remember the Liberation Day crash in April 2025?
The S&P 500 fell around 11% in just two trading days as investors feared a recession and a prolonged trade war.
But Trump later paused many of the tariffs.
By April 24, the index had recovered more than 10% from its low.
And by May 21, it was up roughly 19% from the April bottom.
The economic risks hadn't disappeared. Investors simply realized the worst case scenario was becoming less likely.
A similar recovery could happen if the proposed AI restrictions turn out to be less severe than investors currently fear.
5. History also favors a recovery after midterm elections.
Since 1950, the S&P 500 has NEVER delivered a negative return in the 12 months following a U.S. midterm election.
That's 19 consecutive midterms with positive 12 month returns, averaging around 15%.
Of course, the Iran war, inflation and expensive AI valuations remain serious risks.
But nothing has fundamentally changed overnight to suggest that AI development is about to stop or the entire U.S. economy is heading for collapse.
Markets could recover much faster than people expect once there's more clarity about what Democrats actually plan to do.

On today's stock market crash:
As an investor, on days like today, you have to ask yourself one question: What fundamentally changed over the last 24 hours?
The shift in the fundamental backdrop cannot be attributed solely to the Midterm Election results; markets had already largely priced in the outcome.
So, what changed between yesterday and today? What is the fundamental reason for today's decline?
One of the most likely catalysts is growing concern about a potential "ban" on AI, or at the very least, severe regulation of the industry.
Over the last 24 hours, Democratic lawmakers have publicly called for restrictions on advanced AI development, including an outright "ban on artificial superintelligence."
Frankly, an outright ban will not happen.
Such a ban, if even possible to enforce, would effectively mean the US surrendering its position in the global AI race to China.
Does this mean AI is "over" or today's stock market crash marks "the end?" Absolutely not.
Rather, we believe we are witnessing a sudden shift in sentiment colliding with excessive levels of leverage, potentially triggering forced liquidations by several major institutional investors.
Therefore, today's downturn is more technical than fundamental. This is not to discount the concerns around regulation, they are legitimate. But price action right now does not look orderly or rational.
We are in the midst of the biggest technological revolution in human history.
Zoom out and remain calm.

Again, people have this unrealistic fetish for closing exact tops, or buying exact bottoms. They imagine the pro trader who never loses and times everything perfectly.
Reality is far from it.
Trading is a game of averages.
If my average purchase price is lower, and my average sell is higher I will out-compound you.
Timing the exact bottom is a fools errand, shorting is for risk management, not for PnL.
You short and close in profit so you have more cash on days like today. Would I have loved to be short into it? Sure, it would have been an extra +7% or so on our book. That doesn't matter as much as NOT LOSING money, managing your risk and preserving optionality. The sooner you understand this, the more profitable you'll become.
We've decided to close nearly all of our equity shorts into last nights emotional selling. One of our most profitable months ever. Thank you to our counterparties on those trades.
While the next year looks challenging for equity markets, I don't think it continues to make sense to be directionally short.
While sitting nearly 50% cash, we continue to hold large HYPE and Bitcoin positions.

solid jump. little math:
for sake of argument, let’s say we compound around ~20% per month across $dot metrics (users, rev, subs) a year from now that’d be ~8-9x these #’s
if ai buildout somewhat collapses & consolidates 200 or so mid-sized data players into 3-5 core providers (as seems likely esp after blue sweep) we’ll see how usedot adapts
the products are there, their marketing and approach is solid.
central tbd catalyst for growth is a major privacy breach from a frontier lab. ie say anthropic is hacked by another model & all peoples deeply personal thoughts/convos are stolen. i do expect this to occur to some degree in the next year or so.
Dot is hitting new all-time highs across every core user and subscription metric, with growth accelerating across the platform.
Over the last 10 days, we've recorded substantial progress across our ecosystem:
- 6,992 daily free users, up 4.94%
- 331 paid subscribers, up 15.33%
- $183,972 in annualized subscriptions, up 12.49%
- +$20,424 in additional annualized subscription value
Our increased focus on marketing, alongside our growing external marketing and distribution efforts, is beginning to demonstrate tangible results. We're expanding Dot's visibility beyond our existing audience, reaching new users and bringing greater awareness to the ecosystem we're building.
Every core metric is now at an all-time high. It's time to accelerate.
