Five straight years of supply deficits have quietly hollowed out the physical market, with 2025 demand (~1.24B oz) again exceeding supply (~1.01B oz). That imbalance compounds every year, and now the system is cracking.
China tightening exports in 2026 isnโt noise โ itโs a choke point. Mandatory licenses, state-approved producers only, and capital requirements that shut out small and mid exporters mean global supply contracts overnight. At the same time, COMEX, London, and Shanghai inventories are collapsing, with some regions holding barely 30โ45 days of usable silver.
