As fan of stop-motion, handcraft and anthro had to watch Wildwood. First, this movie doesn't shy away from mature themes and war brutality (really, not for kids); nowdays is rare to see a US animated movie that doesn't treat animation as for kids only, so was pretty refreshing…

Second, as expected visually is amazing 10/10, no complains there. Stop-motion never looked this good and fluid before. Story is its weakest point for me, 8/10. Finally, given its dark scenes and kid humor mix has some sudden tonal clashes... but I think is not a big problem.

Gotta acknowledge and show appreciation when companies hire real artists to do handcraft art instead of slop for their marketing campaigns 👏

“Drawing Prada”: a celebration of craft and process.
Created with the anachronistic technique of hand-drawn illustration, the Prada Holiday 2026 campaign invents an ensemble of whimsical characters and landscapes, starring Luther Ford, together with Prada Ambassadors Chen Haoyu, Maya Hawke, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Sadie Sink.

Funny that my NSFW alt is less shadowbanned than my SFW account. Twitter moderation stinks
