Been building out something new: Horam.
Time tracking and invoicing for freelancers and studios. You start a timer, close your week and get paid, that's it. No per seat pricing either, one flat price for the whole team.
Waitlist is open and early people keep the launch price for 3 years 👇

The CEO of @planepowers blocked me after calling him out on his BS.
Nice. Oh and if you wanna try out Kaneo, we have a Plane importer too. 😏
We’re a team of 3 engineers who love open source, try it out, you won’t regret it.
Own your data 🤡
Plane's default self-hosted install is closed source, needs a license key bound to one machine, caps you at 12 seats, and charges per seat for SSO, custom fields and the wiki. On hardware I pay for.
You even sold self-hosters a "perpetual" license and then sunset it.
Kaneo is MIT. No license keys, no seat caps, no paywalled SSO. Every feature free on your own server. kaneo.app
works with kaneo! amazing stuff
your Hermes Agent can message you first: when mail arrives, a file is shared or a build finishes.
hookspool is an open-source community project: a local inbox in front of your Hermes webhook routes that keeps every event on disk until your Hermes Agent takes it.
> it saves each webhook to disk before it answers the sender
> it holds events while your gateway restarts and delivers them when it is back
> it turns a burst of events into one wake-up
> bobbins, one plugin per service: Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, GitHub, Trello, Kaneo, Zoom and Plaid
> one general bobbin for any service that sends signed JSON
> setup steps in every bobbin, one for you and one for your agent
> it works with the Hermes webhook routes you already have
> plain Python and one SQLite file, MIT licence
what you can do with it:
> get a message on Telegram, Discord or Slack when a new email arrives, with a draft reply from your agent
> get a heads-up when someone shares a file with you in Google Drive
> get one message after a burst of CI runs
> ask your agent for a meeting brief when a new meeting lands on your Google Calendar

Early August, @_valentin and I spent 4 hours arguing about the future of @ToltHQ. I wanted a monorepo, Hono and proper end-to-end types. He wanted to keep doing whatever we were doing, which as far as I could tell was vibes and any.
Half a workday. At least 30 jokes about the other one’s code. Eventually he gave in, mostly so I’d stop talking.
Since then we moved our whole API into a monorepo, shipped TypeScript and Python SDKs, packages for embeds, tracking and webhooks, an MCP server, and brand new docs. The team has never shipped this fast, and we’ve started on a new portal too (more on that soon).
Valentin, I’m available for another fight whenever you are.
Anthropic lost $80.7B in H1 2026.
...$72.4B of that is because their convertible notes got more valuable because the company got more valuable.
Actual operating loss: $693M. Adjusted margin: +10%.
GAAP is a hell of a drug.
Anthropic has filed an S-1 registration statement with the SEC related to its proposed IPO.

Sometimes, the open-source version of a product feels like an inferior alternative to its proprietary counterpart.
Next week, I'll show you why you always wanna bet on open source.
My @what_the_stack talk is up 🎥
"I Stopped Throwing Errors and My Code Finally Works"
We've all shipped catch (e: unknown) {}. A Promise hides how it fails, so you guess.
This is @EffectTS_: errors as values, typed, compiler finally on your side.
