19 years ago, babyballet® was founded in Halifax, by Claire O’Connor.
“I wanted our children to experience something different. We created a magical world of dance filled with characters, colour, music, and fun—a world where every child is valued and gets the chance to shine.”
Nearly two decades later, it’s incredible to see how babyballet® has grown into a global brand, teaching over 20,000 children each week.
Happy Birthday, babyballet®! Congratulations to Claire and every single person who has contributed to this dream🌈

Remembering the bravest heroes, past and present, who give themselves for their country. We are forever grateful ♥️
Why babyballet®? Because at babyballet®, every child matters 🌈🩰
We are proud to provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming culture and for over 18 years, we have made sure that the introduction to ballet for thousands of children under 6, is positive, fun, and magical ✨
At babyballet® we instil life-long skills that we know a child will take with them whether they enter the dance industry or not. Confidence, discipline, friendships, celebrating individuality, self-belief, and the power of a supportive community to name a few.
But the environment in which our children are taught is safeguarded and accepting, and for that, we are exceptionally proud.
