2026 is the year we enact a Voter ID law in California to protect the security of our elections.
Two years later, California has finally admitted that giving free healthcare to illegal immigrants was a bad and unaffordable idea. Starting today, California will no longer allow illegal immigrants to enroll in free healthcare. Huge victory for tax-paying citizens!
WATCH: Governor Newsom’s office doubles-down on commitment to fund universal healthcare to illegal immigrants amid historic state budget deficit.
I’m still waiting to hear how the Governor thinks adding 700,000 illegal immigrants to MediCal will improve California citizens’ access to healthcare.
Correct. Under Operation Guardian Angel, pioneered by my office, local jails have no choice but to comply with our lawful orders to hand over criminal illegal immigrants. This is a good thing.

Mayor Bass: Our officers wear masks because rhetoric like yours has ramped up threats and assaults against their families.
They’re doing their job and detaining illegal aliens who broke immigration law.
Enough of the fearmongering for political attention.

Bill Essayli reveals how he and his team uncovered the ICE kidnapping hoax:
“We knew she was not in our custody and our agents were concerned that she was actually kidnapped, so we launched an investigation… we found out the whole thing was a hoax.”

BREAKING: ELABORATE ICE Kidnapping HOAX. California woman, a MX national, arrested for alleged brazen scheme of lying about being kidnapped by ICE from an L.A. Jack in the Box and held in a warehouse. Scheme went as far as police report, Go Fund Me and press conference … all the while Juli Calderon was free and using iPhone. Feds say Calderon even had pics ready showing her face with dirt on it, which they think was made to look like she was being held in custody and mistreated. Also a necklace on. But Feds say necklace (and shoe laces) woulda been removed if she had been in federal custody.
Justice is coming!

Dangerous rhetoric from CA politicians is fueling assaults on federal agents enforcing immigration laws. Their reckless words implicitly encourage violence, escalating tensions. But we won’t back down. Our operations targeting criminal illegal immigrants will continue stronger than ever.

In April @USAttyEssayli was an Asm. Member who introduced an amazing Save Girls' Sports bill
CA Democrats killed the bill & @GavinNewsom remained silent

This is true leadership 🔥
Today, United States DOJ @CivilRights under the leadership of @AAGDhillon and my office sued the California Department of Education and CIF for their ongoing violations of Title IX. Their discriminatory practice of mandating schools to allow boys to compete against girls is illegal, disenfranchises girls’ opportunities, and endangers their privacy, dignity, and safety. California must comply with Title IX and end its civil rights violations against women. No person, no state, is above the law.

Actions have consequences—suit filed! California won’t get away with allowing males to take girls’ athletic opportunities away. Stay tuned for more!

NEW: Read here some of Trump DOJ lawsuit against LA Mayor Karen Bass over sanctuary city and riots —
Bill Essayli retweeted
BREAKING: The Trump Department of Justice has just filed a lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles, arguing its sanctuary policies violate the Supremacy Clause by intentionally discriminating against the federal gov by treating federal immigration officers differently than other law enforcement. DOJ is asking that LA’s sanctuary policies be enjoined/blocked from being enforced.
Attorney General @AGPamBondi statement to @FoxNews:
"Sanctuary policies were the driving cause of the violence, chaos, and attacks on law enforcement that Americans recently witnessed in Los Angeles. Jurisdictions like Los Angeles that flout federal law by prioritizing illegal aliens over American citizens are undermining law enforcement at every level – it ends under President Trump.”
Excerpt from lawsuit:
"Sanctuary City laws and policies are designed to deliberately impede federal immigration officers’ ability to carry out their responsibilities in those jurisdictions. The Los Angeles Ordinance and other policies intentionally discriminate against the Federal Government by treating federal immigration authorities differently than other law enforcement agents through access restrictions both to property and to individual detainees, by prohibiting contractors and sub-contractors from providing information, and by disfavoring federal criminal laws that the City of Los Angeles has decided not to comply with. The Supremacy Clause prohibits the City of Los Angeles and its officials from singling out the Federal Government for adverse treatment—as the challenged law and policies do—thereby discriminating against the Federal Government. Accordingly, the law and policies challenged here are invalid and should be enjoined."

DOJ says sanctuary policy is illegal and the direct confrontation with Feds was inevitable.
Lawsuit says L.A. rushed with urgency to codify sanctuary law after Trump was nominated, “thwarting” the will of the American people.

This morning @AAGDhillon and my office filled a lawsuit against Orange County for refusing to hand over records showing non-citizens are registered to vote and received ballots in federal elections. The Help America Vote Act (HAVA) is federal law and CA must comply.
Allowing non-citizens to vote in elections is a violation of the American people’s right to determine their future.
California is learning the hard way that @TheJusticeDept will always fight for American citizens to vote fairly and freely!

Once again, a false narrative is and was being pushed out on the arrest of a U.S. citizen in Pico Rivera, CA. Don't take our word for it, check out @USAttyEssayli take on it. This subject just caught a federal case for assault on a federal agent. DON'T ASSAULT.
ARRESTED: Adrian Andrew Martinez, 20, of Pico Rivera, the individual in the blue Walmart vest, was arrested for an allegation of punching a border patrol agent in the face after he attempted to impede their immigration enforcement operation, in violation for 18 USC 111. I will repeat, if you impede our agents or strike them, you will end up in handcuffs facing federal criminal charges. Don't do it.
