One year ago I got into this race. I decided to run because I love this country and our district. My objective is simple: bring back manufacturing, make life cheaper, and deliver real results. 🇺🇸

I got back from Iraq one year ago on a mission: to lower prices, keep our community safe, and ensure our manufacturing stay jobs local. My opponent and I have some differing beliefs. She wants to work for the Jane Fonda climate PAC that wants to ban gas powered cars. I'll support our auto industry, and strengthen American energy independence to lower energy prices.

Christina Hines says she does not take Corporate PAC money. She is entirely funded by a group that takes corporate PAC money. Her response - She cannot control how the DCCC spends its corporate funded money. There is just one problem, her own ads say "Paid for by DCCC… Approved by Christina Hines." She approved the ads. She took the corporate money. She broke her promise. If you make promises, keep them.

La Femina Trucking is a woman owned, American focused, mover of our economy. I thought it was fitting to bring elected leaders from around the country to see the district, and what we need to deliver on to keep it moving. We need leadership in Congress that protects these jobs and I will relentlessly fight for MI-10. Thank you to all the supporters and voters who came out. Mom’s for Bouchard was an incredible event. Moms from all across the district came out and had great discussions about how we put families first. Lower costs, better education, and more parental rights. It’s not complicated and it’s what I stand for. I am so fortunate to have incredibly strong women in my life. We put in some serious miles today knocking doors and talking with neighbors all across the 10th District about what it takes to get Michigan back on track! I have never been a lobbyist in my life. This is why people hate politics. My opponent and her rich donors are going after a four-month college internship, and trying to make it look like I had a cushy lobbying job. It was a college internship where I worked in the mailroom. After graduating, I then spent a decade in the Army. My entire career has been in the army. They lie when they get scared. That’s fine. I believe the truth will always prevail. 🇺🇸

Case after case, Christina Hines has made our community more dangerous. Every plea deal or dismissed case that she APPROVED, released dangerous predators back out on our streets. During her time as Division Chief of the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit, Christina Hines oversaw a case where a predator raped a 12 year old. They let him off with probation, in the name of restorative justice. This is not justice and does not make our communities safer. We must stand for the rule of law, back our police officers and stand with victims.

I have been clear, the war in Iran needs to end. We need to bring prices at the pump down, we need to bring grocery prices down, and we need to make housing more affordable. I have called for a suspension of the State and Federal gas tax, my opponent has not. I have helped negotiate the end of military involvements abroad, like what we just saw in Iraq, I helped lead those negotiations. I look forward to making sure this war comes to a just end.

Spent some time with State Representative Alicia St. Germaine on Lake St. Clair to see the damage caused by unmanaged cormorant colonies firsthand. Between killing shoreline trees on our islands with acidic droppings and consuming pounds of fish every day, these birds are devastating our fishing and natural habitats. The muck piling up along Lake St. Clair’s shoreline is another serious problem, limiting access to the water, posing a major safety risk, and keeping families from fully enjoying the lake. Alicia has led the fight to fund control efforts and clean up the muck, and in Congress, I will work with state and federal wildlife officials to cut through red tape, protect our waterways, and preserve Lake St. Clair for our anglers, boaters, and families.

Stopped by the victory center to rally our great volunteers and then went boots on the ground in St. Clair Shores. Connecting with voters is how elections are won. 24 days left, let’s choose commonsense leadership in Michigan’s 10th District.
