Acknowledging privilege based on skintone, race, gender, features, etc doesn’t mean you don’t work hard! And truly I understand the knee jerk reaction to be like I GRIND AND I WORK, but acknowledging there might be someone out there doing the same thing who might never make it to the places based on who they are doesn’t take away from the work you’ve done imo.

If an artist is giving me a quality show with full out dancing I don’t mind some lipping

You are allowed to have a chapter of your life that isn't organized around being useful to everybody else.
socials wasn’t always like this. when did people start getting PRIDE out of tearing down artists and anything they do. all that negative energy lame. and nan person would actually be able to do an ounce of what they talking shit about. mostly faceless accounts at that. wtf

Yall been criticizing Victoria Monet along the entire way on this damn tour. From when the tickets went on sell and yall said they weren’t selling to when she hit the stage! Now it’s about if her mic is on or not. I’m really tired of seeing It.

I actually don’t mind being wrong. I find it to be healthy because for me that means there’s more room to grow in knowledge. I love being able to see a different perspective as well.
Off the clips I’ve seen so far on @VictoriaMonet opening night, @itsSeanBankhead showed df out!!
