🚨ALERT:
CAMERA’s research was cited extensively in a major new @EdWorkforceCmte report investigating K-12 antisemitism.
Our 81-page investigation from February unearthed systemic bias in the School District of Philadelphia's curriculum—and congressional pressure is forcing real accountability.
According to the committee's report:
• SDP’s social studies curriculum director is undergoing termination proceedings.
• SDP is ending the practice of allowing teachers/admins to write social studies curricula.
Israel-hating Navi Pillay was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize this year. Pillay has a long, checkered past through her involvement with the United Nations, but insofar as matters related to Israel are concerned, she is infamous for being part of the three-person Commission that claimed Israel’s conduct in Gaza amounted to genocide.
One of her co-commissioners, Chris Sidoti, made some stunning admissions during a recent debate in Australia, with military expert Dr. Brian Cox, on whether Israel committed genocide in Gaza. Among them, he admitted that the Commission had not verified a statistic it cited in its report declaring a genocide, from the @guardian which was that 83% of those killed in Gaza were civilians. This was in stark contrast to Pillay’s statement, as reported by @JNS_org, that “every fact was verified” by the Commission.

"In a recent religious studies class at Kenyon College, a discussion about American Jews moving to Israel turned unexpectedly to Israel’s role in the Middle East. One student used the conversation to argue that “Israel is always the aggressor in the Middle East, and if Israel did not exist, there simply would be no conflict.”
I expected my professor to challenge such a sweeping historical claim, but he did not, and the discussion moved on. For a moment I considered speaking myself, but because I was caught off guard and worried about how challenging this broadly accepted argument might affect my standing in the class, I stayed quiet too. That moment stuck with me, not only because of what was said, but because such a claim could pass so easily without challenge." writes CAMERA Fellow Kevin McCarthy.

Some of the biggest names in international media once again struggled to put Israeli victims at the centre of their own story.
The @AP highlighted satellite images of Gaza, while @Reuters posted a live view of Gaza City on the anniversary itself. The @nytimes published limited coverage focused on October 7, used terms such as “gunmen” and “militants” for the terrorists who invaded Israel, and described hostages murdered in captivity as having “died.”
The anniversary should have been an opportunity to remember the approximately 1,200 people murdered, the hundreds taken hostage, and the lasting trauma inflicted on Israeli society and Jewish communities worldwide.
@jessisajew has the breakdown:
Media outlets routinely strip Palestinians of moral agency, framing them solely as victims.
As @adamlevick points out during a recent sit-down with @NGOmonitor's @olga_deutsch, this paternalistic framing isn't just bad journalism—it's both racist and antisemitic.
CNN's Christiane Amanpour managed to make a UN official look like the reasonable one.
"In today's day and age, that takes some doing," @jessisajew says:
When Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed claimed Israel "is not actually our friend," his logic treated Iran like a partner while ditching a key ally.
ABC failed to explain why El-Sayed's statement was so off the mark. CAMERA's @RealAaronGoren corrects the record.
"If we keep with his statement that Israel is getting the U.S. into fights with other so-called friends, then by that logic Abdul El-Sayed is calling Iran a friend of the United States," Goren writes. "This is a perverse misrepresentation of the United States’ relationship with the clerical, radical regime in Tehran that regularly chants 'Death to America.'"

"I'm sorry it offends you when I point out you're a tool of the Iranian regime," @JimHansonDC told Trita Parsi to his face during a recent Piers Morgan Uncensored appearance.
As CAMERA's @RealAaronGoren has observed, @tparsi has peddled regime talking points for decades. So why do mainstream outlets like @ABC keep platforming him as a neutral "expert" without disclosing his record?
Christiane Amanpour is leaving CNN.
"CAMERA’s documentation of Amanpour over the course of several decades has revealed her bias against Israelis, and affinity for the Jewish state’s adversaries," CAMERA's @D_Grunblatt writes in a new @JNS_org essay.
JUST IN: The @nytimes neglects to correct after falsely reporting that all reported 750,000 Palestinian refugees from the 1948 war were EXPELLED.
Multiple media outlets including AFP, Guardian and Reuters have previously corrected the identical error, which ignores that the vast majority fled at the urging of their own leaders.
“But it is not accurate that Israel expelled all the refugees. This argument ignores the realities of war and the twilight of British rule.”

Watch Naomi Klein rant about "anti-Palestinian racism" and "Jewish fascists" as @guardian interviewer @chakrabortty just sits and nods along.
"Because of anti-Palestinian racism, Jewish voices get more of a say."
“If The Guardian is willing to platform Klein and Taylor without challenge … at what point does the outlet cease to do its own ‘radical thinking’ and instead become a platform undergirded by deep-seated antisemitic and conspiratorial claims?” CAMERA UK’s Alex Purcell writes.

The Hannah Gann scandal isn't just about a teacher's false identity claims, argues Rebecca Schgallis.
It's about what happened inside her classroom.
With Philadelphia schools facing allegations of antisemitism and a congressional investigation, Schgallis asks why political activism was allowed to shape students' education.

As reported by Israel National News, on Oct. 13, the IDF and Shin Bet raided two terror organization offices masked as illegal “charities” in Judea and Samaria (West Bank).
During the operations, security forces apprehended five operatives who collaborated with Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). According to the IDF, both organizations were designated as unlawful associations, served as organizational and financial arms of terror organizations and supported terrorist activities in Judea and Samaria.

CAMERA’s @RealAaronGoren flags a misleading @NBCNews tweet that omits critical context: two Israeli soldiers were killed when Palestinian gunmen opened fire at a military checkpoint near Hebron.

Really insane headline... Per usual the Israeli account is presented with foggy narrative words like "accused."

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The post inaccurately states the attack injured five people; two Israeli soldiers were killed and three others injured when Palestinian gunmen opened fire at a military checkpoint near Hebron.
