.@SecRubio: “It would have been very easy to do what multiple presidents before him have done, which is just ignore the Iran thing, leave it for the next guy."
“But this president didn't do that. He confronted it because what Iran wants to do is not just destroy our country; destroy our way of life and threaten our children,” he added.

BREAKING 🚨: Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough continuously pressed Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer: “No, no, no. Hold on a second. You’ve got to answer my question first. Yeah. Is it a good thing that Iran—and I think you would agree with me—epicenter of terrorism in the world since 1979, is it good that their military infrastructure is being degraded to the degree that it is, yes or no?”
Chuck Schumer: “You can’t, because it’s a premature question. What is going to happen in the next several months?”
Joe Scarborough: “No, no. No, no, I can ask that question... I’m simply asking, on the military side, is it good? Regardless of whether we agree with going in or not, is it good that Iran’s military infrastructure has been seriously degraded?”
Chuck Schumer: “What’s going to happen three months from now? Is it worth it? What’s going to happen? Will the world economy collapse? Will something happen even worse? Will the whole energy infrastructure of the world go up in smoke? So you have to—when they do it without planning, when they do without understanding where they’re going—”
Joe Scarborough: “Oh, let me answer the question for everybody in America. The answer is yes. It’s good that the terrorist regime’s military and capabilities have been degraded radically.”

This week we marked the 3rd yahrzeit of my eldest son, Moshe Yedidyah.
As we gathered around his grave on Mt. Herzl, I asked myself, yet again: how are we supposed to go on living without him? We mustn't give in to sadness. It only harms us, and closes us off from the world. Rather, I'd like to think that Moshe would encourage us to maintain a living memory of him.
This living memory encourages us, in his spirit, to lead with responsibility, unity, and, most importantly - love. After all, this is how he would introduce himself to his soldiers: "Hello, I am Moshe. I love this country, and I love the IDF".
Now, 3 years after we lost Moshe, I'm looking at words his brother, Neriyah, wrote, to express his love for the army Moshe held dear. Like Moshe, he spoke of the privilege of taking part in this great endeavor of defending the Jewish state.
After Neriyah's injury, he arrived at the hospital without a pulse. It's even possible that he briefly visited his older brother, hanging between the heaven and the earth. And, as I was standing at Moshe's grave, I had to ask him for help. I asked him to amplify the prayers we send from here, and to plead with G-d to bring Neriyah back to us, and make him whole again.
In the face of the murderous ideology that robbed me of one son, and nearly cost me another, we must do as Moshe would have done, were he still here: stand together, undivided, and fight for our country, which we love so dearly.

I hope that Donald Trump ignores J. D. Vance and the voices pushing desperately for a deal with Iran’s regime.
Gen. Jack Keane this morning delivered the bottom line:
“We don’t make a deal with these guys… they’ll never comply. They’ll cheat. They want money so they can recover and rebuild… then they return to the predator they’ve always been. That’s a strategic loss. The deal is a pathway to a strategic loss.”
Trump had “the courage to start it, and I’m convinced he has the courage to finish it.”
“What is finishing it?”
That means keep the economic squeeze and blockade, isolate them, and put the regime on a path to collapse so Iranians who want to take it down have a real chance.
“That’s the strategic win.”

Those upset with this article think the Iran war was a mistake. Trump does not. He did it because he believes stopping Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon is an “America First” necessity and that he was the only president in 47 years with the courage to do it. He’s right.
They also think Trump was manipulated by some neocon cabal which supposedly has a “stranglehold on the GOP.” Really? Name one “neocon” in the Trump administration. I’ll wait. If anything he is surrounded by the *opposite* of neocons. There was a deliberate effort to purge all “neocons” and “globalists” from his second-term team. And yet look at the record: In his first term he bombed Syria (twice) for using CW on its people, destroyed the ISIS caliphate, killed Soleimani. In his second he has bombed the Houthis, bombed Iran’s nuclear sites, bombed Boko Haram terrorists murdering Christians in Nigeria, launched a military operation to remove Nicholas Maduro, launched a military blockade of Cuba, and then launched Operation Epic Fury to end the Iranian threat once and for all. THAT is MAGA foreign policy.
No one manipulated him into doing it. It was not a cabal of neocons. It was HIM. To suggest otherwise is demonstrably false and insulting to Trump. He made this decision surrounded by many skeptics — and it was the right choice. It was in fact the most courageous foreign policy decision any president has made in my lifetime. I’ll defend that choice - and the man who made it - to my last breath.

President Trump made the right decision in February. He has also given the Iranian rump regime many opportunities to stand down from its nuke ambitions since. They’d have to open all their facilities including Pickaxe to IAEA inspectors. They haven’t. So I pray @POTUS finishes the job.
He and the entire GOP paid an enormous political price for strategic clarity about what Iran with nukes would mean. The gas and especially diesel cost hikes felt
by everyone but no one “feels” what it is like for the fanatics not to have a nuke.
No president before him and likely none after would pay the political price. Having already paid, he should finish the job and let history judge the decision on its merits. If the regime collapses or is cowed, and even if it somehow survives without revenue for 22 months but cannot ever again get close to a nuke, Trump will be vindicated.
🇺🇸🇮🇷President Trump said after meeting with his national security advisers Thursday that he'll soon decide whether to resume all-out war in Iran now that the midterms are over. My report on @axios

Just to be clear, the Democrats and isolationists are telling us repeatedly that even if the Iranian regime declared that it would have 11 nuclear warheads in 10 days, they literally would have done absolutely nothing. Is that ok with everyone?
President Trump said, after half a century of this regime murdering and terrorizing Americans, and threatening to destroy our country, and when his envoy reports to him that the regime declared it would have 11 nuclear warheads in 10 days, that he had to act swiftly and decisively. But the Democrats and the isolationists would have done NOTHING!
I will never vote for suicidal ideologues and political opportunists/cowards who, in the face of such a reality, would sit on their asses and pretend such a genocidal threat by a fundamentalist terror regime does not exist. If our government is responsible for anything, it is our security as a people, not the price of sh*t.

🚨 BREAKING: IRAN WAS MINUTES FROM LAUNCHING HELL ON EUROPE! 🚨
Sen. John Kennedy just dropped the BOMBSHELL classified intel that changes EVERYTHING:
“Our intelligence showed Iran stacking ballistic missiles and killer drones like never before… They were about to turn to America and Israel and SNARL:
‘We’re restarting our nuclear weapons program — and if you try to stop us, we’ll OBLITERATE the Middle East… and oh yeah, our missiles now reach LONDON, PARIS, and GERMANY!’”
Trump faced the nightmare decision: Let them arm up until they could rain fire on our allies and threaten the homeland…
OR STRIKE FIRST AND SAVE THE WORLD?
He chose to BOMB their nuclear sites and STOP THE MADNESS.
This wasn’t politics. This was SURVIVAL.
If Trump hadn’t acted, where would we be right now?

Victor Davis Hanson just rejected JD Vance’s claim that the Iran war cost Republicans the midterms.
“It’s not the war.”
Now, he says President Trump needs to hit Iran “very, very hard.”
“Pickaxe Mountain.”
“For two or three weeks.”
Hanson is convinced that Trump “did the impossible” in the beginning of the Iran war, “but they didn’t explain it.”
“They didn’t say to the American people, 7 presidents said you can’t let them get a nuclear weapon.”
“They’re closer than ever before.”
“This is an existential threat.”
“When the war broke out, he had over 50% approval.”
“And they had a spectacular success for the first 38 days.”
“There were mistakes, but the biggest problem was we had almost won.”
“Then once they stopped in 38 [days], they were not quite done yet.”
“They hadn’t prepared for the Hormuz.”
Then, he says they failed by letting negotiations drag on for months on end.
“We still have eight months before the midterm.”
“Six months.”
“Five months.”
“Four months.”
“Three months.”
“They got into a haggling with people who don’t tell the truth and have no intention to negotiate.”
And now, he says Iran’s leaders are celebrating.
“These people are sky-high, high-fiving themselves that they stopped Trump with the midterms.”
“And they’re not going to negotiate.”
