I absolutely loved the open discussions at @d3unconf and it would be awesome if more conferences had an 'unconference' moment to truly allow the community to participate - @encode_info, maybe this is something for next year?

today is the unconf part of the #visfestunconf, we have 4 sessions throughout the day where folks split up into 3 groups to discuss various topics. the groups collaboratively take notes so we capture the knowledge share too!

Just got back from an awesome @d3unconf! It was wonderful to hear about data visualization in so many different fields, and seeing friends in person. Not to mention the fantastic keynotes and workshops! Thanks so much for all of the hard work @MollzMP @enjalot and many others!!

Thank you, @sxywu for the continued, shameless promotion of @d3unconf 😂 I wouldn't have found and gone without seeing it here. It was fun to learn and talk with others about data visualization that may be an afterthought. I'm ecstatic to be apart of this community
