Beware the boomerang!, by David M. Weinberg - eepurl.com/WvIUXKam9N
With the disintegration of France in mind, one shudders at the thought that America also might be deteriorating towards politics where Jew/Israel hatred drives both the far-Left and the far-Right and serves as the superglue that binds them together...
It starts but never ends with the Jews. Like in France, the orgies of aversion to Jews and Israel inexorably morph into waves of anti-civilizational contempt wearing keffiyehs; violent surges that transcend the Jews and Israel and which existentially threaten the bedrock foundations of Western society…. davidmweinberg.com/2026/11/0…

Israel Will Remain Ferocious Whoever Wins | Misgav Institute short interview with David M. Weinberg. As Israelis prepare to vote in a tightly contested election, Weinberg argues that the country's new, more aggressive security doctrine will remain unchanged, whoever becomes prime minister. Despite bitter political divisions, he says Israelis are increasingly united on the need to confront Iran, Hamas and other regional threats. Western capitals expecting a more dovish Israel may be in for a rude awakening.

An Expert Guide to Israel's 2026 Election. I join Daniel Schwartz of "Public Research" for a granular tour of the ten-plus-party free-for-all that is Israel's upcoming election. From Haredi draft dodgers to Itamar Ben-Gvir's Jewish Power Party, Yair Golan's Democrats, Bezalel Smotrich, the Reservists Party, and beyond, we look at the candidates and parties competing for power.
From there, we confront some of the core questions hanging over Israel today: Did it win the Gaza war? Is it stronger than it was on October 6? Or did it fall into Sinwar's trap, with Netanyahu's slow and bloody three-year war in Gaza giving the global anti-Israel movement new life and prospects for success?

Opinion: As Israelis prepare to vote, the election campaign has offered little beyond familiar politicians, personal rivalries, and a troubling lack of serious policy debate.

Neither Shas nor UTJ puts women on its Knesset list. The Haredi Public party is the first that does, with Dr. Nechumi Yaffe on its slate, and it backs IDF enlistment and real integration into Israeli society.
This ad is awesome.
The campaign has been personal and superficial, nasty and negative. Nobody is discussing substance – national security and economic policy. And the candidates are boring. Where is the fresh crop of brave and ideologically motivated leaders who will breathe hope and inspiration into Israeli politics? Wait for the 2028 or 2030 elections. Bottom line: Next week’s vote is not the big inflexion point in Israeli politics that many were expecting... davidmweinberg.com/2026/10/2…
