🚨HUGE: 347 MILLION coconut trees could be brought onto Hedera as they bring one of the world's biggest agricultural industries! !
EcoGuard has launched a @hedera powered carbon platform designed to serve over 3 MILLION coconut farmers in the Philippines. That's how many trees they plan to register through its Philippine carbon project.
The goal is to help farmers earn revenue from verified carbon credits.

FX is the world's largest market, yet it still runs on dealer networks and deep balance sheets - keeping liquidity locked in a few major pairs.
@YieldFX is built on Hedera to open it up, turning tokenized bank deposits into liquidity for new corridors.

Lloyds posted tokenized gilts 👀👀
As collateral.
On Hedera 👀
Most people missed
What this really means.
Here it is in plain English:
In July 2025, Lloyds Banking Group and Aberdeen Investments ran the UK’s first FX trades backed by tokenized real-world assets as collateral.
The two tokens used:
Units of Aberdeen’s money market fund
UK government bonds (gilts)
Archax, an FCA-regulated exchange, issued, moved and held them. All on the Hedera network.
First, what is collateral?
Think of it as a security deposit.
When two firms trade, each puts up assets so the other side is protected if something goes wrong.
The old way is slow and manual. Settlement delays push firms toward plain cash, which is safe but inefficient.
The new way:
The collateral is a token.
It moves almost instantly
It can be programmed to follow the trade agreement’s rules
It cuts operational cost and counterparty risk
Why the scale matters:
The UK holds about 43% of the world’s OTC FX and interest-rate derivatives market, out of roughly $15 trillion in daily volume (2022 figures). Small efficiency gains there add up to a lot.
Why Hedera?
Aberdeen’s head of product pointed to three things: transparency, governance and very low energy use.
The proof it landed:
In July 2026, the HM Treasury-backed Wholesale Digital Markets Champion report cited this trade as a real example of industry progress. It sits next to a 54-firm taskforce that includes Barclays, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and BlackRock.
Honest take:
This was a pilot between two firms, not the whole market.
But it was real banks, a real regulated trade, and UK law as it stands today.
Everyone talks about tokenization.
Lloyds and Aberdeen ran a live trade.
