its also dead simple
Replying to @SJRonanMD @Tom_A_Lynch
yea seems that chart is prefil and decode combined. I just tested @actualinc e for 1017 vs what I was using. looks promising. I am running intelligence benchmarks now.

Thank you to everyone who traveled from across the world to NousCon 2026. We loved spending time with the people who make the Hermes community great.
As you all know, we released the Hermes Mobile beta at the event, and as anticipated it filled up quickly. We are working tirelessly to free up more room in the beta, and to get the app production ready for wider release. The feedback has been incredible so far, and we are excited to share it with the world soon.
In the meantime, please join the waitlist at hermes-agent.nousresearch.co…

There is a version of the future which is rebels with hyper advanced AI vs monolithic incumbents with boatloads of free cash flow and reg capture…
as the world moves from single-player computer use
into our new agentic paradigm
our legacy business models for the internet will too evolve
a timely essay exploring these new dynamics from @ronangmi for @collab_currency
My new piece for @collab_currency
Agents are rapidly changing how the web is consumed and who profits from it, rewriting the economic bargains that have sustained much of the open web for thirty years.

Own your intelligence.
Anyone that opposes this has something to sell you (perhaps your own intelligence back to you.)
Local models need to continue proliferating. The “absolute unit” massive models may be out of reach for now locally, so your best option is to, indeed, keep your options open. Own your harness, data, connections, runtime: your agents. Embrace open source.
Derek Edws retweeted
Why own your own AI?
When you can simply rent it,
from me,
In perpetuity,
And I dictate the rules,
That you must abide by,
To use my AI,
Or I ban you..
Why would you possibly want something else?
sam: local inference is a terrible allocation of scarce resources
“a lot of people want local inference, and somehow they assume that the problem is solved now because we have open-source models, we're going to be able to run them on our computers, and so we're not going to need all the stuff in the data centre
but from a global allocation perspective, actually it's quite terrible to have everybody, like, have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used five percent of the time
you want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment
somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that”

100p agreed, @derekedws and I call this 'getting in the arena': companies first markets that seem small or lack durability
get feedback, find pain points, and learn how to differentiate + look around the corner
i find myself using this heuristic for data vendors alot fwiw

i was saying it over and over: it’s absolutely a national security threat - we are actively applying robotic automation in manufacturing plants, agriculture, warehousing, etc. but what would happen if the robots break and we can’t ship the parts?

At Fountain, we continue to explore ways to support collectors and their favorite artists.
This year in Marfa, we partnered with @glitchmarfa for two of the most engaging shows of Art Blocks weekend: LIFT (together) – Part II: FAILURE MODE by
@ArtOnBlockchain, and Origins by @summergwagner.
We're proud to have played a small part in bringing collectors together this weekend. ⛲️
