fast agentic shopping with eve and opencommerce
today we are announcing openrouter for commerce: opencommerce.sh
a single endpoint that integrates 5k stores, including Doordash, Amazon and most shopify stores, with payments using Agentcard (Stripe Link and Shop coming soon).
we built opencommerce to solve 3 problems:
* coverage: one endpoint to integrate 5k stores. agentic purchasing is a core feature for most personal assistants, but not their main business. searching for products and buying on behalf of users shouldn’t be as painful as it is today (e.g. it shouldn’t involve browser automations or dealing with PSPs). opencommerce solves that: 1 tool, every online store.
* reliability: 100% uptime. the challenge with browser automations is that they fail (e.g. captchas, bot-detection, etc). we run thousands of tests every couple of hours on every one of the stores to guarantee that the integration works when your user tries to buy something.
* speed: responses in under 10s. consumers are used to Amazon speed, and agentic purchases have so far felt like a downgrade. most agents spend minutes finding products before they come back with results. we monitor speed and improve it constantly.

We run 70+ @eve agents internally, and they get the web through Firecrawl.
Along w/ @vercel, we've made it easier for you to do the same. One command gives your Eve agents unfettered web access:
eve.dev/integrations/firecra…
Firecrawl is now live in @eve, Vercel's open-source agent framework 🔥
One command gives your agents the web and beyond with Alexandria.
eve.dev/integrations/firecra…
Batteries-included personal assistant built on @browserbase @eve @link and @linqapp.
eve.dev/templates/bell-stack
Introducing BELL, the complete OSS stack to build your own personal assistant.
@browserbase for browser infra
@eve by Vercel for harness
@thelinqapp for iMessage
@link by Stripe for payments
We're giving it $10,000 to make agentic payments, join the stream to spend our money.
200+ releases since our June launch. here’s what’s new in the eve agent framework.

a big reason we move so fast is by heavily dogfooding @eve
for example, our eve coding agent auto triages and fixes issues reported on the eve repo

"could it run on cloudflare?"
people kept asking that about Vercel's @eve . so I built Eden.
one command, and then your Eve agent is live on your own @Cloudflare . same project, no rewrite.
npx @moinulmoin/eden deploy
fully open source 🧵

filed a bug on vercel's eve harness. they picked it up and shipped the fix in 3 days
filed one on langchain. they assigned the fix to me, i wrote it, and the pr's been waiting on review for 6 weeks
so i think we know which agent harness is gonna win
you can get a durable @eve agent session id from your web app before the user sends their first message by passing prewarm
it unlocks use cases like:
1. setting the chat url (e.g. /s/<id>) from the start, so a refresh mid-reply reopens the same chat
2. files can upload under that session before the message that uses them goes out
3. a support widget can put the session id on the ticket the moment it opens

Was super cool to see Agent Runs expand to cover use cases outside of @eve.
Plus I implemented instrumentation hooks in fx like any other harness has so it could be instrumented.
Introducing 𝚍𝚞𝚛𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎-𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜. Run Pi, OpenCode, Codex, Claude Code, eve, fx, or your own harness durably on Vercel.
With 𝚍𝚞𝚛𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎-𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜, agents automatically resume work after failures and run for hours, days, or months. vercel.com/blog/making-every…

Much like we did with @aisdk, we're bringing a truly open-source, runtime-agnostic solution to harness durability.
We're extending the durability infra that powers @eve and Workflows to all harnesses, like Pi and OpenCode. Local, Vercel, or DIY.
Fun fact: even Claude Code and Codex can be made durable (and observable!) this way. The catch: they're not (currently) designed for embedding, which makes them less efficient, less portable, and brings an extra sandbox requirement compared to Pi or Fx.

with @eve’s native Slack channel, scheduled runs can fan out into existing threads
example: every morning, revisit each open question thread and post the investigation inside it
just pass the optional threadTs to your Slack target. leave it out and eve starts a new thread
