The most insane football game I have seen in more than 30 years in this business. How do you sum up a game with 172 total points, numerous records broken and a suspension so the game could be moved to a stadium with lights? Simply put, that was craziness.

It's over. @qhsfootball advances in the Class 6A playoffs with an 88-84 victory over Chicago Goode in the highest scoring playoff game in IHSA history. The move to a new stadium proved worth it for the Blue Devils, who are now 8-3.

Chicago Goode is kicking off to Quincy to restart the game. The Knights scored just before the game was suspended.

Both teams have arrived and are on the field. Game should resume soon. No definite restart time just yet.

The game is being temporarily suspended. The teams are going to move to a field with lights and will finish the game tonight. Being told they are headed to Chicago Englewood's field. We will see. Quincy leads 88-84 with 3:42 remaining in regulation.

At the end of the third quarter, @qhsfootball leads Chicago Goode 74-72 in the Class 6A first-round playoff game. Sunset is supposed to be 5:48 p.m. in Chicago. Will this game finish before it gets too dark?
