Open source will likely die (in its current form):
- adoption of libraries will still be increasing for now
- but no one will know or care which specific library is being used underneath
- many folks will just build zero dep apps from scratch
- clean-room rewrites are easy (ppl will ignore GPL etc)
At the same time:
- everything including closed source is easily reversed and cloned, more open code will get shared
