Signups are now open on Code[dot]Storage. Today, more new repos are created per second on Code Storage than any other platform. Lovable, Bolt, Amp, Poke, and many more of the largest agentic workloads store their code and agent memory at scale using Code.Storage.

I've had a lot fun trying a new way to interact with agents introducing Grim: a place to think with your agents it's a markdown editor, a shared filesystem, hosted git, and a way to let your agents run but give feedback and view output grimnotes.app

I was drawn to Silicon Valley because of people's healthy relationship to work. connection to mission. friends. ambition. financial security. hard work. but also free time. positive sum vibes. pride in being a part of it. joy. this is no longer the case. my friends have gone mad. and there's almost nowhere to hide. refusing to accept this fate, I went searching for safe havens. I found (at least) one in ottawa and spent the last 6 months with @turbopuffer where they've got silicon valley chops, canadian kindness, and danish sense of humor. it's been the perfect medicine. I wrote about it in @colossusmag
The people of Silicon Valley are unwell. If you work at a frontier lab or decacorn, you’ve got it bad. You haven’t seen your kids, your girlfriend’s annoyed, invites from friends to hang out are waning, even weddings are on hold. This is the time to make your mark and make your money, after all. If you’re building a startup that’s trying to compete with or be one of these companies, you’ve got it bad. Maybe you passed up a job offer at one a couple years back, which means you left $100M on the table, you fucking idiot. Being an underdog isn't as fun as you thought. If you’re working on a pre-AI startup, you’ve got it bad. Not too long ago you were the belle of the ball, but now your 30% year-on-year growth doesn’t feel like growth at all. It feels like death. "Too many of my friends are spiraling," Brie Wolfson writes. "I don’t know how we’re supposed to live and work like this." It’s all too much, too fast. Too much money, too much growth, too much power, too much change. Every month, a new frontier model is released. Every day, a new unicorn is minted. Seriously. 300 days into the year 2026, and 311 unicorns have been minted so far. So what’s left for the sane ones? Brie went looking for teams playing a different game. She found one in Ottawa: a search infrastructure company that many of the AI darlings rely on. It's growing fast, and its people are well. Read @zebriez’s latest company dispatch from inside the sane asylum of turbopuffer. colossus.com/article/sane-as…

Pretty much only interview question left is "what's the most important and complex thing you've ever been solely responsible for and how did it go"

Jacob Thornton (@fat) is the founder of Pierre Computer Company (@pierrecomputer). Pierre provides the building blocks of the computers that agents will use to do work. But Pierre is as much a brand and culture project as an infrastructure one. Jacob believes brand is the most important thing you can be doing in 2026, and his references run from MTV and skateboard brands to Godard films and the magazine racks at sf Heath newsstand. In this interview, we talked about why MVP culture is cringe, how to find and hire obsessives, why the best creative work at Pierre starts in iMessage threads, and the real reason the company is named Pierre… sort of. Read the full interview "Virtual computers for agents, chrome blobs, and MTV" linked in the thread. cc @thisisrayouf

Optimized gpu-lexer.vercel.app to be 3.8x faster: 850ms → 221ms. It's still far behind @pierrecomputer's diffs.com/highlights (incredible work!) Also wrote down some thoughts on shud.in/thoughts/ideas-behin…

HOW DO THEY KEEP DOING IT???????????? adding to OC Desktop rn.
Today we're launching an exciting new project: Highlights Highlights is a syntax highlighter that outputs HTML. It improves on both speed and correctness compared to the existing industry standard libraries. It's an optional drop-in replacement in Diffs, and it's ready to use today. In fact, it's already powering diffshub․com! Check it out at diffs.com/highlights OR `pnpm install @pierre/highlights`
