If you think animal suffering has nothing to do with your health, think again. 🚨🐾
Intensive farming, live animal transport, wildlife trade, fur farming and the dog and cat meat trade can create conditions that help diseases spread.
Animal, human and environmental health are connected.
This #OneHealthDay, FOUR PAWS is calling for animal welfare to be a priority in preventing future health crises.

Our work has only just begun, but we couldn't be more ready. 💪
Four facilities, which together house around 70 lions, tigers and brown bears, do not hold the licences required under Jordanian law, making them illegal private-keeping facilities. 🦁🐯🐻
A better life for rescued bear Nui! 🐻
Bear Nui was rescued in early 2022. We found her in a heartbreaking state, emaciated and crammed into mesh transport crates.
Nui has since settled into BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh. 💚

A huge congratulations to our #FurFreeAlliance coalition partner, @Anima_Int for 26 years of campaigning to end mink farming! Last Friday, the Danish government confirmed it will not seek an exemption from the EU prohibition on keeping and breeding mink. ⬇️
The restrictions follow an EU rule listing the American mink as an invasive species. As a result, #Denmark's remaining seven mink farms must close by 2029.
