For the Vegas interested folks, @OllyLovat has a new survey. Worth a few minutes. smartsurvey.co.uk/t/VegasNex…

The OpenAI ChatGPT plugin submission system continues to test my patience. After waiting in review for 3+ weeks, I go to check and now it says 'request manual review'. I thought that's what I was waiting for? Well, submitting a manual review 500s so that doesn't work either. 🤬

Alien tonight, in honor of the great Tom Skerritt.

Want to see something dumb? Hook an iPad up to a Magic Keyboard and try to scroll your feed in this app with the two finger gesture. I mean, sure, sideways seems like a good way to scroll up and down. Nice work, rocket people! 🙃🙃

Well, that was easy. Store actually came back at 5am on the dot this time.

I'm trying to use my Dot's computer to sign into a website but it seems to be ignoring my keyboard input no matter the platform - macOS, web, mobile. Just me?

Looks like the iPhone Duo order prep tool is now up.

I've been using the new Codex/ChatGPT Meetings plugin and I've really liked it... but it's disappeared from my account which not only means I can't record any new meetings but all of my previous meetings are gone too!

The new dynamic UI stuff is quite cool but causes an instant crash for me in the iPadOS app.

Why did a random non-working Atlassian thing appear in my Codex sidebar? I don't have the plugin installed, don't use Jira, etc.

Feels like Face ID is noticeably worse on the 18 Pro models and nobody’s really talking about it?

I was hoping the new plugin approval system from OpenAI would make things easier but at least for me, not the case so far. Review still seems slow and the automated tool flagged an issue but provided no detail so not useful.

Asked my dot to keep track of possible incoming plague. Weird world.

Got MCP Events working in ChatGPT (thanks @mxstbr). Pretty fun, lots of potential.

The ChatGPT app seems to forget/re-select several of my sidebar items with each launch. Just me?

Events work great in Work mode. Regular chat doesn’t seem to understand them. So that’s how you fix it.

Excited about the new MCP stuff in ChatGPT but haven’t been able to get event subs to work. My plugin exposes them and Chat can see them but won’t actually subscribe and instead complains about not having a tool to call. Anyone got this going?

Being able to have ChatGPT plugins live in the sidebar like mini-apps is fun.
