Both @meetgranola and @WisprFlow are fighting for your Fn key. But they are not alone, as voice AI productivity software has started to look similar. I analyzed the fight and what we might see from these companies on my blog. weekinvoiceai.com/p/granola-…

Wispr launched a Granola competitor and now Granola launched a Wispr competitor.
Granola now does voice typing. Unlimited words, for free. Granola already writes your meeting notes. Now it can do the typing for you, in any app.

For @stateofplayclub, I write about Nike’s second innings in India. - How the @mipaltan deal came together (and why) - Where India fits into Beaverton’s “Sport Offense” and how Vegam Run explains it - The IPL kitting business and why this heralds a breakout moment - Nike’s Apple-like plans. By India, for the world

Seeing a lot of Granola-Wispr Flow discourse on my timeline. One prediction I have is that Wispr will make dictation free in the coming months. The company might be waiting/training to release a fast/flash version of its own Canto model for that.

As a pipecat team member, we take being vendor neutral very serious. This will not change, we will continue to support all vendors and provide unbiased benchmarks.

Exclusive: @DeepgramAI is acquiring @pipecat_ai, maker @trydaily, in a massive voice AI deal. Pipecat is an infrastructure component for a ton of voice AI developers. Deepgram said that it aims to keep Pipecat open-source. techcrunch.com/2026/10/29/de…

This gives opportunity to Deepgram to get feedback from developers and improve their models. Pipecat can also be an infrastructure layer for all kinds of real-time communication, not just voice. That means Deepgram can be an infrastructure company beyond voice.

A whole rupees ONE LAKH fine for misleading claims on packaging by one of the largest fmcg brands in the country. What a joke.
The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed a penalty of ₹1 lakh on Britannia Industries Ltd for a misleading advertisement that claimed "100% whole wheat bread" even though the product's declared wheat content is just 62%. thehindu.com/business/ccpa-f…
