Three suspects from Segev Shalom and Ar’ara BaNegev were arrested overnight on suspicion of election bribery, allegedly offering money to voters in exchange for their votes for the Ra’am party. Southern District detectives seized over NIS 24,000 in cash, including pre-prepared envelopes containing money, and notes during searches of the suspects’ homes. The suspects are expected to appear in court today for a hearing on the extension of their detention.

During the 2026 elections, Tel Aviv police officers arrested a man in his 20s carrying a knife near a public figure at Mesila Park. Officers spotted a suspicious object under his coat and stopped him for inspection, finding a knife in his possession. Contrary to reports, no stabbing attempt occurred. The investigation is ongoing.

The Israel Police has completed preparations for tomorrow’s Knesset elections. Approximately 20,000 police officers, Border Police officers and volunteers will be deployed nationwide to secure polling stations, maintain public order and protect the integrity of the elections. Police will act against election-related offenses, including attempts to disrupt the voting process through disinformation. Follow police instructions and report suspicious incidents to 100. Earlier today, IDF forces alerted law enforcement to dozens of individuals who entered an unauthorized area adjacent to a gated community without prior required coordination. Following procedure, the individuals were detained for questioning prior to their release.

Operation "Olive Leaf" in the Binyamin Region: Following reports of violent incidents over the weekend, 10 suspects believed to be linked were arrested and taken into custody as part of the ongoing investigation.

Several people, including children, were injured in an explosion near the community of Yiftah in northern Israel. Initial assessments indicate the explosion may have been caused by unexploded ordnance previously fired by Hezbollah in attacks targeting Israeli civilians. Police officers and bomb disposal experts are operating at the scene to secure the area and investigate the circumstances of the incident. The public is urged to stay away from the scene and report any unexploded ordnance or suspicious objects to the police emergency hotline at 100

Today at 6:29 a.m., exactly three years since the murderous terrorist attack began, the Israel Police senior command and officers gathered at southern battle sites, including the former Sderot station, to honor the bravery of fallen police and Border Police officers. Leadership observed a minute of silence and laid wreaths in memory of those who fell defending the nation. The Israel Police stands firmly with the bereaved families and wounded officers.

Earlier today, police forces responded to a suspicious object bearing a Hamas terror flag found in an open area near Talmon in Samaria. Modiin Illit Police officers, IDF forces, and Judea and Samaria Border Police bomb disposal officers secured the scene to neutralize any potential threat, and following further examination determined that the object was a mock explosive device

A Hamas flag and a mock explosive device were found near Mount Baal Hatzor in the Binyamin area. Officers from the Binyamin Police Station and Border Police bomb disposal experts completed a professional examination and carried out a controlled detonation of the object, which was found to be a mock explosive device. A police investigation is underway.

Update on the vehicle-ramming attack on Route 443: As Traffic Division officers were conducting routine activity on a service road parallel to Route 443, a terrorist drove at high speed toward a nearby security forces member and rammed him. IDF forces at the scene opened fire as the terrorist attempted to flee and neutralized him. The victim was seriously wounded and evacuated to hospital. Police are investigating the attack and collecting findings at the scene.

Initial report of a vehicle-ramming attack on Route 443 A terrorist rammed an Israel Police vehicle operated by a police officer and an IDF soldier as part of a joint deployment. The soldier was wounded and is receiving medical treatment. Forces at the scene neutralized the terrorist. Additional forces are en route, and an investigation is underway.

Following the shooting terror attack near Neve Tzuf in the Binyamin area, an investigation is underway as police and IDF forces conduct searches throughout the area to locate the terrorist, supported by, among other means, a police helicopter and drones. The victim, an Israeli man in his 30s, was critically wounded and later pronounced dead at the hospital. Roads between Ofarim and Halamish and between Halamish and Birzeit are currently closed in both directions.

Two suspects involved in the August attempted lynch of a mother and her son after they accidentally drove into Jenin have been arrested. The joint operation was conducted by the Judea and Samaria District Central Investigations Unit and the ISA. With the investigation complete, indictments are expected shortly.

The fire in Beitar Illit has been contained. Since earlier today, Judea and Samaria District officers have been on the ground, coordinating closely with Fire and Rescue services to secure the area and protect local residents
