We’re back! And here to continue our support for Palestinian freedom (not that we let a cyber attack stop us). Let’s clear some things up:

The occupation won Israel's election. 5.6 million Palestinians live under Israeli rule. None of them voted in Tuesday's election. Half a million illegal settlers on the same land did. The man running to replace Netanyahu says he won't govern with any Arab party.

Sadly, what these elections have revealed above all is that the policies pursued by the Israeli government against Palestinians and our very existence are not simply the ambitions of Netanyahu, his government, or the far right, as I once believed (or perhaps desperately wanted to believe). Instead, they seem to reflect the will of an overwhelming majority of Israeli society. Three years of killing, starvation, forced displacement, and humiliation. Thousands of children killed, entire families wiped out. And yet, even all this death appears not to have been enough to satisfy their desire for revenge, or to make them see us as human beings on the other side. #Israel #IsraelElection

🧵 Three years on, the genocide in Gaza has been named by states, UN bodies, courts, human rights organizations and genocide scholars — yet it has not been stopped.

Today, you'll be flooded with Israeli propaganda about "we're a true democracy, not an apartheid" All of their talking points are copied from Apartheid South Africa's propaganda (watch👇) Apartheid South Africa's Tricameral Parliament was 42% colored & Indian in 1983, after the regime allowed 2.8 million colored & 850,000 Indian citizens to vote (while excluding 22.7 million black South Africans). Colored representatives even held ministerial positions, but without portfolios (i.e. no real power). This is just like Israel allowing 2 million Palestinian citizens to vote while excluding 6 million in the occupied territory & 8 million in exile. The less than 15% of Israel's Knesset that is Arab are excluded from power (both Netanyahu & the opposition parties refuse to form a government with Arab parties). Apartheid South Africa had black policemen, soldiers, engineers, doctors, & professors whom they loved to show in propaganda videos to claim "we're a cosmopolitan society". But that was only a fig leaf to hide the disenfranchisement of the overwhelming majority of blacks. Apartheid South Africa also claimed a God-given right to the land. They also screamed "we're facing an existential threat" & are "surrounded by enemies who want to destroy us". They also bragged "we're the only democracy in Africa", "we have Western values", "we're the only industrialized state in Africa", "we're one of the 20 most developed states on earth"... It was still an Apartheid! Don't fall for Israel's recycled apartheid propaganda!

As you read the Israeli election results today, a reminder that even the liberals say Arab instead of Palestinian. The erasure of Palestinian identity has no party allegiance. Even some Palestinians are forced to go along with it culturally.

An Israeli soldier stands in front of a church in the historic southern Lebanese village of Al-Qawza. Soldiers have blocked the entrance with dirt. The church, Saint Joseph (Mar Youssef), was constructed in 1927. The 1927 construction was a modern rebuilding on top of an earlier parish foundation dating to the 19th century. While this photograph shows a part of the church, the surrounding architecture has been completely decimated by deliberate Israeli attacks.

We extract blocks of cement from the depths of the sea, from a ship that sank off the coast of Gaza 53 years ago, and recycle them for reuse. Here in Gaza, we don’t know the meaning of impossible.
In 1973, a Greek ship carrying cement sank off the coast of Gaza City, ending up at the bottom of the sea. Today, 53 years later, people in Gaza have begun heading to the shipwreck to retrieve the cement, which has hardened and deteriorated after decades underwater, in an attempt to recycle it and make use of it once again. Imagine how desperate things have become: people are now searching the wreckage of ships that sank decades ago for whatever cement remains.

The reality of course is that in Canada, the US, France, India, Mexico, the UK and Swiss, suffrage extends to nearly 100% of people living in the territory controlled. The one exception is Israel. If you redo this chart with trying to be misleading, as the Israeli government does here, Israel would be at the bottom. Some 6 million Palestinians living under the Israeli governments rule, have no right to vote for that government.
The strength of Israeli democracy lies in its people. Yesterday, Israel recorded its highest voter turnout since 1999, with 77.7% casting their ballots. 🇮🇱🗳️

You asked me how I’m doing after three years of genocide in Gaza. My answer? I’ll be better when Palestine is free. 🇵🇸 In this Q&A with AJ+, I talk about the people I’ve lost, what keeps me going, and what the world can do to help. I still believe I’ll see a free Palestine in my lifetime. ❤️ #BisanFromGaza #Gaza #Palestine #FreePalestine

Ahead of Israel’s elections and emboldened by Trump, Netanyahu has escalated his attacks on Palestinians—displacing thousands in the West Bank while continuing to bomb Gaza. Americans are tired of their tax dollars being used to displace, murder, and collectively punish millions of Palestinians. We must end our complicity in Netanyahu's campaign of terror. Not one more dollar. Not one more bomb.
Over 3,000 Palestinians have been displaced from their homes in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron since Friday, as Netanyahu carries out collective punishment in a bid to shore up support ahead of Israel’s elections on Tuesday.truthout.org/articles/netany…

Israeli journalist: "You are both first time voters. What are you voting based on?" Israeli voter 1: "I don't want there to be Arabs in the county." Israel voter 2: "Me neither." Background: 56% of Israeli Jews want to expel all 2M Palestinian citizens of Israel, and 82% of Israeli Jews want to expel all Palestinains in Gaza to other countries. haaretz.com/israel-news/2025… Turns out, for some voters, it is the only issue they care about: creating an Palestinianrein Israel the same way the Nazis created a Judenrein Germany. source: instagram.com/reels/DfAdZBDB…

They’ll tell you it’s not apartheid because Arab Israelis can vote, while 5+ million Palestinians under Israeli occupation are denied equal rights. They’ll tell you it’s a democracy because Jews from around the world can go to Israel and vote, while millions of Palestinians are denied the right to return to their homes. They’ll tell you the future of Israel is at stake, while they deny a future for Palestine. They’ll tell you the problem is Netanyahu, while the majority of Israelis support genocide, apartheid, and land theft. They’ll tell you the problem is Palestinians, while ignoring the decades-long occupation that brutalizes them. They tell you lies.
