What happened with Binance was serious. People have every right to ask tough questions. So let’s talk about this one.
For me, what matters now is how they respond. Richard Teng stepped up, took responsibility, and laid out what Binance is doing to protect users and strengthen security. As should any cold CEO does.
The reality is, as technology gets smarter, so do the threats. The crypto industry has to stay ahead, keep building, and earn people’s trust through action. At the end of the day, you have to fail to succeed, many times over. It’s the blueprint. The process is normal.
I’m still bullish on the future of crypto. But for this space to grow, security and accountability have to grow with it.

I think it is time to announce a little gaming passion project I have been working on for a while. I am happy to introduce @ScrapHappyGame, a cozy pixel-art game about magnet fishing, hopefully coming to @Steam soon!

This is exactly it.
Web3 gaming spent years trying to build token economies and then asking, “How do we turn this into a game?”
It needs to be the opposite.
With Chain Reaction, our approach has always been: if you stripped every blockchain component out tomorrow, would people still want to play the game?
If the answer is no, nothing else matters.
That’s why the overwhelming majority of our development effort is going into gunplay, server-authoritative combat, lag compensation, movement, maps, weapons, animations, audio, performance, anti-cheat, and all the boring little details that actually make an FPS feel good.
The blockchain sits underneath that.
A player should be able to jump into Chain Reaction and have fun without knowing what chain they’re on, understanding wallets, buying a token, or caring how any of it works.
For the players who DO care, the underlying infrastructure can enable ownership, rewards, tournaments, progression, trading, and our Kill-to-Earn mechanics. But those are enhancements to the game, not a substitute for one.
Web2 players shouldn’t have to become Web3 users before they’re allowed to have fun.
Build a game people actually want to play first.
Then use blockchain to make that experience better.
Is web3 gaming ever going to make it to mainstream?
I have my doubts and initially I will say no. Reason being, hate to say it but web3 gamers generally are degens. Far different than the hardcore web 2 gamers imho.
I do say that web2 games should utilize blockchain tech but should almost be invisible to the gamer. More thoughts on this
