Electric air taxis are arriving in Florida.
Today our aircraft flew from St. Petersburg to Tampa International Airport, retracing the first commercial flight in history, flown in 1914.
It opens a week of piloted eVTOL flights in partnership with @MyFDOT across the first hubs of Florida's Aerial Highway Network: Tampa Bay, Orlando International and Kennedy Space Center.

What an honor to work with @jobyaviation and their Aero S4 today! Big things happening in the near future @MCO !!!
Yesterday, Joby flew an electric air taxi into Orlando International Airport’s dedicated Vertipad, the first purpose-built eVTOL infrastructure at a major U.S. airport.
Working with @MyFDOT, @MCO, and @FAANews, these operations help map the regulatory path for airport facilities across the country.
Florida’s Future of Flight Series continues.
Next stop: Space Coast 📍🚀
We just wrapped our Q3 ‘26 earnings call, and now it’s back to business, but not before a quick thank you to all of our shareholders who traveled far and wide to watch us retrace the Jannus flight across Tampa Bay.
Your energy and support inspire everyone at Joby, and they fuel our work every day as we continue our path toward FAA type certification.
From all of us at Joby, thank you! 👏
Today, we published our Q3 2026 shareholder letter.
From conducting electric air taxi operations at several major airports to flying across the country with our autonomous flight system, this quarter showed what it looks like when our technology meets the real world, and how much demand is building behind it.
The big news: we raised our FY26 revenue outlook 15%, to $135M–$140M, on $55.1M in Q3 revenue.
Additional highlights:
⬆️ First vertical lift electric air taxi to fly under the White House-backed eIPP, operating into DFW, Tampa, and Orlando airports
✅ Key “for credit” FAA tests completed across major aircraft structures and systems, laying the groundwork for TIA flight testing
🏭 Toyota manufacturing alliance deepened; output across our eight core manufacturing shops up 37%
🚁 Record 44,000+ passengers flown by @flybladenow in Q3, with New York airport passenger service up 61% year over year
🛡️ Signed a definitive agreement to acquire Resonant Sciences, an EBITDA-positive defense technology company with more than $100 million in trailing revenue through July 2026, strengthening Joby’s defense business (expected to close in early 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions)
💰 $2.2B in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments as of Sept. 30

The future of flight is taking off in Florida!
We were thrilled to partner with @jobyaviation to host the Tampa Bay stop on their Electric Skies Tour.
Seeing innovation like this in person and feeling the energy in the crowd made it a day to remember.
One of the amazing conversations we had was with @DMaguireARK , Research Analyst, Autonomous Technology & Robotics @arkinvest , who shared his thoughts on the eVTOL sector.
More behind-the-scenes interviews coming soon.

Last week, we made our debut as an official partner of the Circuit of Americas, operating helicopter flights directly to the track during Austin Race Weekend and showcasing the power of urban air mobility at one of the country's premier sporting events. We can't wait to be back next year.
