🏀 Youth basketball registration is officially open! PARC youth basketball gives players ages 5–16 the opportunity to build their skills, learn the game and get in on the action this season. Ready to hit the court? Visit lafayettela.gov/basketball for all the info!

🚧 LCG drainage crews are repairing a sinkhole on Sharpsburg Dr. near Verot School Rd. and Vincent Rd. after an underground drainage pipe deteriorated. See a dip, crack or sinkhole in the road? Report it to 311 so crews can investigate and address potential safety hazards.

🚧LCG is building a new $2.9M bridge connecting The Vineyard and Sonoma Gardens subdivisions near Vincent Rd. The 5-span concrete bridge will improve neighborhood connectivity & access to major roadways. Learn more about this project and more at the construction map link in bio.

🚒LCG and the @LafayetteFD_LA secured nearly $178K in federal funding to expand cancer screenings and early detection services for eligible firefighters and retirees. With the local match, the grant represents a $195,750 investment in firefighter health and wellness. Link in bio.

🚧Crews will begin removing 300+ identified debris obstructions from the Vermilion River, starting near Milton Bridge toward Pinhook Bridge. In partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this effort will improve navigation and safety along the waterway. 🔗More info in bio
