Still my fave movie and my fave role of @russellcrowe to this day.

Release day is always such a strange mix of excitement and stress, haha. You spend so long writing the book, editing it, obsessing over every little detail… and then suddenly it’s out there and there’s nothing left to do. 😅

My happiness in life is spending free time practicing and playing. I now need a sound room for my acoustic set, and my life will be complete. Although I have been offered roles in 3 bands this month... decisions, decisions. #tomoyasdisciple

Can you guess what I am learning?

Been working on wood and thistle brooches in between writing books. Ignore other items on my table I'm sorting out odds and ends. The stags have yet to be made over, as well as the thistle. I use cards to hold items while gluing, painting, varnishing as a handle and stabiliser

Popping my head out of the writing cave to say hello I’ve been a bit quiet on creating while I’ve had my head buried in my book, but the snow has finally melted, the kettle’s on, and the day carries on. Thought it was the perfect moment to share a bit of Scottish pride instead.

✨ Merry Christmas ✨ A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported my small Scottish business this year 💚 Orders placed from now will be posted after New Year’s Day. Lang may yer lum reek ✨ Sharing one of my pieces here — inspired by quiet winter nights 🌙

Two new knitting pattern bundles are now live: ✨ The Elf Family — Pepper, Pickle & wee Pip ⛄ The Snowman Family — Frosty, Crystal & Baby Snowball Both are PDF knitting patterns🧶 #knitting #knitpatterns #handmade #festiveknits #christmasknitting #knitdolls #makersofx

Meet Pip 🧝‍♂️💚 Pickle and Pepper’s wee baby has arrived — and I am completely smitten. Same stripy socks and dungarees, just on a much smaller, chubbier scale. Pip’s pattern will be available soon, but for now I just wanted to introduce him properly #knittingcommunity #handmade

It’s my birthday today 🎂 So I’m doing exactly what I love most — a quiet day, a cuppa, and knitting away with Pepper the Elf keeping me company 🧶✨ No rushing, no pushing, just making for the joy of it and letting my brain rest in that happy, creative space.

Mystery WIP revealed 👀🧶 Meet Pepper — Pickle the Elf’s other half, currently in the making. Still very much in the design stage, lots of tweaking and tea involved 😅 What do we think of her colours so far?

New Scottish make! 💙🏴 I made these Saltire & Thistles mini travel game sets — laser-cut board, wooden counters + handmade tartan pouch from scrap kilt fabric. Zero-waste and very Scottish! 👉 ltmarshalldesigns.etsy.com/l… #ScottishMakers #Tartan #Handmade

I decluttered my craft room again instead of doing my actual tasks. But LOOK — it’s tidy(ish)! 😅 I found my desk. I found scissors I lost in 2021. I found supplies I definitely impulse-bought at 3am. Calling this a December win. ✨ #craftroom #organisedchaos

I got completely sidetracked by baking today and ended up with the softest little sandwich loaf. Still learning, still experimenting, but this one turned out so fluffy inside. Small wins in the kitchen! 🍞✨ #HomeBaking #BreadMaking #FreshBread #BakingLife #Homemade
