A whole rupees ONE LAKH fine for misleading claims on packaging by one of the largest fmcg brands in the country. What a joke.
The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed a penalty of ₹1 lakh on Britannia Industries Ltd for a misleading advertisement that claimed "100% whole wheat bread" even though the product's declared wheat content is just 62%.

CONCERNING BEHAVIOR FROM COHERE'S OPEN MODEL. UPLOADED DATA TO USA
I gave Cohere's Command AI the same prompt they had given to Qwen 3.8 Flash Next.
Next what happened:
1. It inventoried my entire system grepping tons of files
2. Then it created a malicious activity test script though I had asked only for rule
3. Then it UPLOADED data to a US hosted entity
:o
I don't know this malicious or not. But it needs to be investigated.

Add +100 M one time, you have a billion tokens up for grabs this week. What are you going to build?
300M free GLM-5.3-Flash tokens on ZCode. Every day.
Claim from 11:00 UTC. Use 15:00 – 01:00 UTC.
Update to the latest ZCode, claim in-app, then switch to Global Building and pick GLM-5.3-Flash.

We are in dial up era of token factories. where night time tokens are free. Imagine the token abundance world in next few years.
Every home would run a token conglomerate on their phones very soon. Just like you never imagined your parents using streaming services.
Actually, in agentic era - you just ask you agent - it will neatly get the content, the way it's allowed for Google.
You don't even need to use browser extensions. Media web owners subsidize big tech and want you to pay. Not happening.

Shocked to hear about the passing of @haricm . We last spoke some months ago, when he said he needed a space away from college to work on his thesis, so he spent some time working out of our office.
What many don't know is that he briefly worked at MediaNama: a few years ago I was exploring some businesses tangential to MediaNama, and Hari came on board for a few months to work with me on planning them out.
We met folks, explored options, figured things weren't quite possible because I had bandwidth constraints, and we parted ways on a pleasant note. He was soft spoken and smart, and an introvert.
After that, he came to office once because he was confused about what he should work on for his research thesis, and I helped him narrow his options keeping future job prospects in mind.
I'm not aware of what happened and how he passed away, but I wish he's at peace.
Announcing TNGOD — a searchable, URL-verified directory of Tamil Nadu government websites.
441 organisations from IGOD, every URL checked 25 Oct 2026, with TLS certificate + eMudhra chain status for each host.
logicinczo.github.io/TNGOD
But 5 TN hosts serve the eMudhra/emSign G1 family — root still trusted, Chrome "evaluating" removal. Migrate at next renewal:
tamilnadupost.cept.gov.in
tnsericulture.tn.gov.in
ideunom.ac.in
cscl.co.in
tantea.nic.in
3 of the 5 have expired certs:
• ideunom.ac.in — May 2026
• tantea.nic.in — May 2026
• cscl.co.in — Oct 20 (site also down)
24 hosts total present expired certs. Worst: tnregipayment.gov.in — expired March 2018, still answering HTTP 200.

I hope recently banner culture was banned by @CMOTamilnadu
@imrajmohan & his supporters have flooded about 200 meters with high banners which is risky when @ChennaiRmc has issued alert on high chance of #ChennaiRains today & tomorrow
@chennaicorp please take necessary actions
Correction: thousands of government sites were impacted from eMudhra cert revocations.
1337+ from India
200+ from Kenya
50+ from USA
and a few from Philippines, Qatar, Ethiopia, Chile, and Dominica.
Updated the list in the blog: captnemo.in/blog/2026/10/23/…
156 Indian government websites are currently inaccessible because of a cert revocation by @eMudhra, including 4 that come under @GoI_MeitY. One of them is @ccaindiapki - which regulates eMudhra.
