Why I’ve been off social for so long…
For months, I couldn’t talk about this
Please someone help stop what they are doing at USA Bobsled
This is actually insane 🤯
@lolojones literally had a broken back, lost control of her bladder — and was denied medical treatment!
We’ve all heard of corruption within USOPC. This appears to be another sordid case. Disgusting.
Eager to hear some type of response from @USOPC_CEO or anyone within the organization.

I asked for a breakdown of what the investigative articles that are raising questions about regarding USA Bobsled CEO Aron McQuire and High Performance director Curt Tomasevicz
If the reporting and paper trails are accurate, the compliance and ethics questions are wild. The last page are actual federal laws possibly being broken.
I'm speechless.
Let’s talk about point number 1 that has personally effected me
The high performance director who decides the Olympic roster has a well documented, long-standing personal bias against me.
He’s publicly expressed very opposition to my selection in USA Today and Time magazine while previously serving as an athlete representative that his role is to help athletes.
He became quite outspoken after a a girl athlete he was very, very close to (emphasis on very) was left off the team, and he blamed me for it.
Under USOPC compliance rules and the Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act, a documented conflict of interest requires mandatory recusal to ensure fair, unbiased representation.
Yet, Curt has never stepped aside. He has controlled every Winter Olympic bobsled team selection since then. The Federation's failure to report this clear ethical violation and enforce recusal has shut me out of every Olympic team since he became the High performance director
To be noted: despite not making Winter Olympic teams I was still performing Elite results in both sports. track and field Olympic trials semifinals appearances 2024 and my 2021 World Championship gold showing I produced elite results in both sports. Ranked #1 USA brakeman in a race off in 2025.
Yet oddly when the Winter Olympics come around…
After reading the investigative report
If you feel USA Bobsled and USOPC violated duty of care for athletes please email the ethics committees and ask for an independent investigation. Organizations only change when enough people demand accountability.
Thank you everyone for the messages of support.
I never wanted to go up against a powerful organization or take on a fight this big. But I would never forgive myself if I stayed silent and a future bobsled athlete suffered a serious spinal injury because I chose not to speak up.
Athletes deserve to know their safety is the priority

Athlete: I think my spine is seriously injured.
USOPC Sports med: No MRI. No treatment.
USA Bobsled Coaches: “Race in 4 days.”
I’d like to know how USA Bobsled coaches and CEO kept their jobs after admitting in legal proceedings they put two athletes back into bobsleds just days after both had suffered serious spinal injuries risking paralyzation when their were healthy alternatives that could have raced.
I’ll attach the legal proceedings that happened
Read the investigative reporting. Then decide for yourself
And here is the investigated journalism in piece on my injury

Here is the substack breaking down the section 9s of the USA bobsled women’s team
Two women. Two spinal-injury emergencies caused or exacerbated by USA Bobsled’s decisions. In one case, the federation refused an proper athlete care and used her performance under duress to remove her from the program. In the other, the federation refused an athlete safety and used her performance under duress to remove the inconvenient result from the record.
Same federation. Same disregard

I remember limping by the sports med room every day, unable to go inside. Millions in equipment and funds are donated specifically to help Olympic athletes rehabilitate, but John Faltus canceled my appointment and locked me out
The worst part? USA Bobsled and the USOPC put me back in a bobsled without ever ordering an MRI or properly evaluating my injury, risking permanent paralysis.
Lolo Jones was denied medical care by the USOPC after suffering serious spinal injuries while trying to make Team USA. 😳
She later paid for her own MRI, which revealed multiple back injuries that required surgery.
What do you think about this? 👇 @lolojones @MattMoscona

Everyone thinks crashing is the scariest part of bobsled. Try taking on the machine of @usopc and USA Bobsled to demand basic care for an injured athlete instead.
They stripped my rights, completely destroyed me, and no one was held accountable. Finally, the truth is getting out
Full read 👇 Thank you for all the shares and national attention. Going against the United States Olympic and Paralympic committee was terrifying. They stripped my rights, nearly paralyzed me, and protected themselves with zero accountability. If I didn't speak out, they would do it to someone else.

Dear USA Bobsled coaches: I did not write the article exposing you.
I got a C- in English. I write captions, not investigations.
But watching y’all play CSI and accuse the wrong people is hilarious.
If your detective skills are this bad, it suddenly makes a lot more sense how you picked the Olympic team.
I’ve been reading everyone’s comments and support. It took me months for me to speak about this
thank you to everyone for the messages.
USOPC and USA Bobsled have a duty of care. I never want an athlete to experience what I did
Replying to @lolojones
Please sue them. Your case is VERY strong. I am sorry it happened. Hope you have healed.
USA Bobsled coaches have no accountability.
They claimed they made zero mistakes in their athlete selections, even though the numbers say otherwise.
They also bragged they’ve never lost a Section 9 arbitration. That doesn’t prove they’re right, it proves the system is almost impossible for athletes to challenge.
No Summer or Winter Olympian has won a Section 9 in over 20 years.
The message is clear: athletes have rights on paper, not in practice.
The Olympic system protects its coaches more than its athletes
I was never even given an X-ray or an MRI. I wasn’t even allowed to use the ice bath to numb the pain.
I did not even know my spine was seriously injured. I just knew I was in pain That’s why I got back in a Bobsled. Had my pilot hit a wall. I would be paralyzed today.
USOPC @USOPC_CEO and USA bobsled put me at major risk and then penalized me for the injury that they gave me testing bobsled for team USA
Replying to @lolojones
As an athletic trainer who works closely with a spine surgeon, this is appalling...those symptoms to any athletic trainer would warrant an immediate referral to a spine specialist or an ER, and then a same day MRI to diagnose the cause....I am so sorry...this AT needs to be fired
Did I just log on and watch the Internet combust ?? 😳 if two of the richest men alive can publicly beef like like this post break up I'm definitely allowed to subtweet my ex.
