Congratulations to Zeke, Vinod, Neal, and Abe. This is an important milestone in the evolution of our understanding of A.I. in healthcare. We are learning more every week, every month - and your work brings new light to bear on the potential of AI.
Game mostly over for human doctors vs. AI? @ZekeEmanuel @AbeBakerButler @nealkhosla and I just published in @JAMA_current. Some, like @Bob_Wachter, contend AI-only care will be medicine’s “economy class.” We disagree. In cognitive medical functions, AI alone medical care is likely to be better than physician-only or physician-AI hybrid care. @DrOz @1klomp time for @CMSGov @CMSinnovates to take note: Will Autonomous AI Exceed AI-Aided Physicians as the Best Medical Care? 1/ We are publishing the first proof that AI can reason as well as clinicians in live clinical environments. Our AI diagnosed ~2400 patients as accurately as board certified clinicians in a real environment and was 30 percentage points better than Google’s equivalent system.

In 2020, millions made their voices heard at the polls. But now, folks who oppose that progress are making it harder to vote. That’s why I’m asking you to join @WhenWeAllVote and 30 other organizations to turn out more voters and urge Congress to pass voting rights legislation.
