For those who like swearing, knock yourself out. But results here are similar (actually, lower) than results we saw in our self-talk study w/ runners, & didn't involve swearing strategies: (tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1…). Also- element of habituation (Section 4.1) likely significant.

The univariate approach dominates meta-analytic structural equation modeling (#MASEM). Suzanne Jak and I showed that the standard errors and test statistics are highly biased. We also showed better methods to do it.
