AI will not be able to solve the fundamental problems of math and physics, because the issues lie upstreams of everything that has been discussed in the last 100-150 years.

Happy Birthday to physicist Wilhelm Weber (born on this day, Oct 24, 1804)! "In descriptive natural science, a relationship given through a law is accepted as an explanation, without having located the reason for the law in the nature of the hypothesized entity."

You can find this quote in the "Aphorisms" chapter (Vol. 4) of Wilhelm Weber’s collected papers on electrodynamics, edited and translated into English by Prof. Andre Assis: ifi.unicamp.br/~assis/books.…

Weber envisioned a unified physics where gravitation is a residual electric force - originating from a small asymmetry where attractive charge interactions slightly outweigh repulsive ones between neutral bodies. An intriguing mechanism that should still be investigated.

Yes, the gap is confirmed. Coulomb's First Memoir reports same-kind repulsion via pin charging without polarity-reversed series or independent |Q| assays for both ++ and --. Saranin & Mayer (2010) quantify positive like-charge repulsion matching voltage-derived theory, with no reported negative counterpart. Maxwell's equations stay symmetric under charge conjugation either way positives are viewed.

Coulomb’s law predicts equal repulsion for equal charges: (+Q,+Q) and (−Q,−Q). Has this symmetry been directly tested experimentally, with charge magnitudes measured independently of the force? I’m looking for experimental references, old or new. physics.stackexchange.com/qu…

A deflecting electroscope needle does not necessarily tell us which charges cause the repulsion. Could electron distribution explain the deflection even when the instrument is positively charged? I’m looking for a controlled experiment comparing both polarities.

The question is still open. Surprisingly, most physicists don't seem to realize that macroscopic electrostatic repulsion between positive charges (+Q, +Q) has never been settled experimentally.
Following up on my questions about repulsion between positive charges, I posted on Stack Exchange: "Has the mechanical repulsion of 2 positively charged conductors ever been quantitatively compared with that of 2 equivalent negatively charged conductors?" physics.stackexchange.com/q/…

Today I finally corrected a gross error in the image of the golden leaf electroscope on the wikipedia page. Curiously the image stayed almost 20 years unaltered on wikipedia. This is high school experimental setup. It can only show repulsion between negative charges.

I rewrote the whole section about the gold leaf electroscope because it had some inconsistencies. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electr…

Why current AI won't be able to put Physics (and Math) on the right track. AI analyzes *text* about physics, not the physics itself...

There is compelling experimental evidence that negative charges repel each other. But where is the equivalent experiment for positive charges? “Positive charges repel” seems to rest on convention and theoretical expectation, not direct experimental evidence.

Been sitting on these since March. Same starting point. Three different records. I kept working until they stopped feeling borrowed and started feeling like mine. Glad I waited to show them properly. CLAW, 2026

I am taking my coffee at the exact place where I arrived first time in Paris in September 1973. Paris, rue de Dunkerque, Gare du Nord. Paris is a vibrant, safe, entertaining city. Infrastructure very much improved in the last 53 years.

You may say this is meaningless chatter. It is supported by experimental evidence. Physics: my PhD thesis, which explains the quantum behavior of an electron, without ever referring to its mass. Math: area transformations generate recursive algebraic patterns of any dimension.
