🚨 Young people have lost faith in politicians, but they still believe in Democracy!
This is just one of the many takeaways from the Youth Index Poll: 5 Years On - a collaborative report from My Life My Say and @OpiniumResearch that details how young people’s attitudes towards society, politics and democracy have shifted over the last 5 years.
We want to extend our thanks to everyone who came to our Youth Index Poll: 5 Years On event at Samsung KX on Friday (despite the weather ⛈️), and we hope that you enjoyed hearing about what young people really think 💭
For anyone unable to get their hands on a physical copy, the report is now available to view on our website 🔗 mylifemysay.org.uk/youthinde…
🚨 We have some exciting news 🚨
We’re delighted to announce Melisha John as the new Chief Executive of My Life My Say!
Melisha has been part of the MLMS journey since 2020, from Operations Director to Co-CEO, and will now lead the organisation into its next chapter.
Under her leadership, we’ll build on everything we’ve achieved so far - growing our reach, creating more opportunities for young people to participate in democracy, and making sure young people have a real say in the decisions that affect their lives.
And there’s plenty to come, including our biggest and best Next Gen Conference yet this November 👀
A new chapter for My Life My Say, with the same mission and even bigger ambitions ✊🏼✊🏾
