✅ We’ve reopened the railway at Saltcoats following high winds bringing waves over the sea wall earlier.
We’re now working with @ScotRail to reinstate services between Kilwinning and Largs/Ardrossan as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience if your journey’s been affected.

🍁 Throughout autumn, we closely monitor leaf fall. On Friday, we'd seen approx. 45% of leaves down, but by yesterday, due to #StormBoelo, that number reached 67%.
Our 8 leaf-busting trains continue working around the clock across Scotland's Railway.

✅ Good news from Drumchapel. The fallen tree has been removed from the overhead wires, and we're working to get @ScotRail services moving, though it'll take time to get trains and crew back into position.

Services are starting to return to normal between Edinburgh and Dundee following high winds at the Tay Bridge earlier. We'll be working with all of our train operators to get trains back on time ASAP.

🛤️ Our response teams are out right across Scotland today as we continue the clean-up in the aftermath of #StormBoelo, removing fallen trees and debris and checking our equipment for damage.

As we mentioned yesterday, with more heavy rain and strong winds forecast today, we've put in place speed restrictions on sections of some routes, slowing trains down to help keep everyone safe during the worst of the weather.
