Love that I could go away for a long wknd & not even have to wonder if my @pebble would need charging As long as I’ve not gotten the low-bat reminder @ 20%, I know I can make it for at least 4 days Even with my relatively long-lived Garmin, I’d always top it off first. No more!

Quick @Pebble Round 2 update - we’re making progress but not in mass production (MP) yet! TLDR - Currently in beta testing (In US? Apply here to join forms.gle/XWUjiPoMLgNfR6yg6) - On track to start shipping Pebble Round 2 watches in July - Current plan is to be finished shipping out all preordered PR2 in September - Beautiful black or brown leather straps will be available to add More details I was in China 2 weeks ago reviewing the latest pre-production samples. I found a cosmetic issue that we needed to fix (an indentation from CNC milling near where the watch lug connects to the watch case - see picture). It was a tough call, because we were so close to starting mass production. We’re modifying the metal-injection-moulding tooling now to avoid this CNC cut. I really wish we could have started MP sooner, but I guarantee that it will be worth the wait!

Did a long-term pedometer test with my new @Pebble on a marathon-length walk. It showed 4% fewer steps than my Garmin, but about 14% more distance This seems to be an issue with stride length then, perhaps bc my legs are a bit shorter than avg for my height

Noticing a pattern with my new @Pebble: when I start out a walk/run, the distance is not super accurate, but by the end it’s just what I expect Here, it called 1 mile at about .91, but when I finished my 4 mile loop it was as close as my Garmin Anyone else notice this pattern?

One thing I love about my new @pebble is that you can easily control music playback, even during a workout On my Garmin, it was possible but required switching modes each time, annoyingly. To change the volume required 3-5 clicks, versus just one on the PT2 So much better!
