Gun & Shield Day in the NYPD is the best day for any NYC Police Officer before graduating from NYC’s iconic Madison Square Garden— especially when you pin your original shield on your daughter.
Just ask Detective Gonzalez of the elite @NYPDSpecialOps Emergency Service Unit. He had the honor of pinning his police officer shield on his daughter, Mariana, who is scheduled to graduate next week & officially become NY’s Finest alongside her father.
