🟣 Is HIP-4 about to hit a new volume record?
Since permissionless HIP-4 went live on @Hyperliquidx, volumes on this new market segment have been somewhat muted, generally staying below $3M a day, and even dipping to $1M in early October.
Since October 10, volumes have been picking up again, driven largely by sports competitions (NBA, Champions League, League of Legends Worlds).
HIP-4 has been processing over $10M in volume for the past few days, nearly matching the $12.45M record set on June 27.
Interestingly, just like on HIP-3, even though several deployers want a slice of the pie, a single platform captures the bulk of the volume.
On HIP-3, @tradexyz now dominates by a wide margin with nearly 100% of volume. On HIP-4, it’s @Outcomexyz crushing the competition, now holding over 90% market share.

HIP-4 generated $29.25M in trading volume during the first week of October, compared to $93.95M in the last week.
That's a 3.21x increase in less than a month.
