Software Factories are extremely valuable, but hard to build. @tessl_io's new product may have just solved that 🙂 - Simple onboarding turns a repo into a factory in moments. - Template loops for code review, vulnerability remediation, cost optimization and more. - Built-in self-improvement for loops, compounding your factory’s value. - Interactive factory floor for tracking activity and solving problems. - Clear and simple metrics to know what you’re getting. Tessl factories are fully built on open skills, which you create, hone and own indefinitely. We help you create skills from your history, and the factory starts to self-improve them from here. Lastly, Tessl factories are declarative and easy to understand and manage. Config files composing skills and environments into actions, actions and triggers into loops, and multiple loops into a factory. This is the equivalent of Infrastructure-as-Code for factories. Instead of a bunch of disparate scripts you piece together to understand what’s happening, they codify what the factory does. This means Tessl factories aren’t just easy to setup, they’re easy to manage too. At the end of the day, our job as tool builders is to delight our users. Solve real problems with strong technology and great UX, that help them run fast. I feel the Tessl Factory is getting this job done. If it wasn’t obvious, I’m excited by our new product 🙂 At the end of the day, our job is delight our users, and I firmly feel the Tessl Factory does so. As part of the launch, we’re offering $200 free credits to all users. Try it out, and let us know what you think - I can’t wait to see what you build.

It's fun to ask agents to use the #concurrentcd research and it producing these beautiful overviews. It's a draft of what's coming. concurrent.cd/research?utm_s…

Most companies roll out AI coding like this: “Here’s the tools. Engineering, figure it out.” @patrickdebois says that’s why it stalls. A software factory needs a business decision and an owner. Episode 2 of After the Last Engineer. Youtube -> youtube.com/watch?v=FnCnv2tG…

I am thrilled to tell you that Swamp Club has raised $7m in seed funding from @AmplifyPartners, Encoded Ventures, @jesserobbins, and @stolinski. Swamp is a platform for building AI systems from repeatable behaviors, rather than from token-hungry agent-centric designs. More exciting to me than the money (which I'm stoked about,) or the product itself (which continues to surprise and delight me every day,) is the incredible group of people who have started solving real, practical, everyday problems with Swamp. They teach me new and exciting things about how to build with AI every day. I'm grateful to my co-founders, who have poured every ounce of their creativity, passion, and intelligence into Swamp. I'm grateful to our users and customers (big and small) - there is no greater gift you can give to an entrepreneur than the validation that comes with voting with your wallets. And I'm grateful to our investors, who see the opportunity we see, and want to make it happen with us. It's such a cliche to say that there has never been a better time to build - but really, it feels like there has never been a better time to build. Come join the Club. swamp-club.com/press/swamp-u…

If you’re in Antwerp for Devoxx week, join us for an evening exploring what happens around the coding agent as software factories become real. @patrickdebois from @tessl_io and @BSadogursk88555 from Port.io are getting together for a fireside chat on AI Software Factories: Loops Within Loops. The basic software factory loop is becoming familiar: → Spec in → Agent works in a sandbox → Verified code out But that’s only the inner loop..What happens when you connect it to prod? How do incidents, ownership, context, guardrails and feedback from the real world determine what agents should build next - and what actually gets shipped? Patrick will bring the perspective of context and harness engineering inside the factory, while Baruch explores the outer loop around it and the emerging agentic software delivery lifecycle. 📍 DE WINKELHAAK, Antwerp 🥂 Drinks & conversation from 18:30 🎙️ Fireside chat + Q&A at 19:15 🍻 More conversation afterwards Food, drinks, technical discussion and plenty of time to meet other people building at the edge of AI-native software development. Seats are limited - RSVP here: luma.com/p4lv4ct5

Review isn’t the bottleneck, dealing with Risk is. You’ll hit review good enough, then you need to start thinking risk. Determine on what changes what risk profile occurs and then mitigate the impact. AI factories don’t become autonomous by making review perfect but by making mistakes survivable.

Trying to clarify different AI software factory loops: (blogpost pending) - production loops: these act on the code - maintenance loops: keeps the line running within the factory rules - feedback loops: changes the rules what the factory decides Thoughts are welcome!
