To give developers and market makers time to integrate, we’re running canary markets October 5–30, with new markets tentatively switching on November 2.
With this release, we’re also introducing Data API v2, a new Rust service powered by our in-house on-chain indexer

Yesterday, a 3rd-party performance script on polymarket.com was compromised by its vendor's attacker & swapped for one built to target our users. For a small window of time, it used open sessions to sell positions and move funds. The vendor has publicly confirmed the breach..
The Protocol V2 release has moved from November 2 to November 9 to keep midterms week clear.
The final schedule and rollout plan will be shared in the next few days, including exact timings and the order in which markets will migrate.
No action is needed in the meantime.

These markets are for testing only, with limited liquidity and no production-level support guarantees.
We're targeting November 2 for net-new markets to launch on Protocol V2.

We've deprecated our legacy SDKs, including the CLOB and relayer clients (TypeScript and Python), in favor of the unified SDK.
The deprecated packages will keep working but will no longer receive updates. This is not a breaking change, so existing integrations, including those migrating to Polymarket V2, can continue using them.
We recommend moving to the unified SDK to get the latest features and fixes.
