Dave's automatically lost this debate because of name calling.
Apparently name calling disqualifies you, UNLESS HE'S DOING IT.
For years on my show I've said: With Meltzer, TK, AEW Sickos... it's "good for me, not for thee".
Dave is out here making up arguments that don’t exist because he can’t defend how much he’s lost his mind in order to glaze AEW, which is what he actually gets criticized and made of for. Dave is the guy that literally said, “THE BOOKING DOESN’T MATTER,” when Alvarez criticized AEW booking with logic. Dave has provably changed his match ratings scale from what he honestly thinks to “I didn’t like it, but the room did,” as if he HAS to prop up AEW. He’s a clown with a stake in AEW’s success because he knows it reflects on him. Dave is both out of touch and a hypocrite. He’s got 4 decades of bashing successful companies and successful bookers and successful wrestlers according to much higher and obvious standards that all stopped when one of his subscribers used his dad’s money to create a company in Dave’s vision.

Dave, I know your feelings are hurt, but listening is your friend.
You say you don't listen, and then accuse people of not saying the exact things you want to hear.
How about this, please tell me when I said the opposite of what you want to hear.
We all know AEW means a lot to you, but your tweet shows that you actually have no idea what I have or haven't said.
Your public perception is only your own fault.
Brian, please tell me when you first said that AEW was going to get a deal worth more than half a billion and thus became a huge success in the sports world. When did you first cover the most successful drawing promotion to casuals and hardcores in a market and learn what works to such an audience? What did you say and learn from the largest TV audience per cap by far in 2026,which you may not even know today for all we know? You made fun of me for reporting and explaining demo numbers and then instead of learning, thus were blindsided by the 0's in the next deals. You've spent years on this, but looking back, you've missed almost every major business story and every trend in and out of the ring. Because of that you have to make it personal because your track record on modern business has been so far off.
Virtually every AEW PPV I pick 10+ matches right. I went 1-3 for Crown Jewel. Dave is calling things redundant because I live rent free in his brain and call his analysis redundant and pointless. 🪈
