Anthropic @AnthropicAI ❤️ zkSTARKs:
In collaboration with @StarkWareLtd co-founder Prof. Alessandro Chiesa and other brilliant researchers, Anthropic just open sourced a zk STARK system for proving the integrity of LLM inferencing, bringing us closer to verifiable AI.
As we said long ago (since 2018), zkSTARKs are the end-game: highest scale, best security (post-quantum). Now, also AI agile and supporting AI integrity.

Some of you haven’t been around long enough and it shows. One of the straightest guy you’ll meet in crypto.
let me get this right, this @kimchi1x guy gained clout because 95% of crypto twitter is retards that thinks he made 40mil on trump when in reality, the wallet they all thought was his, is actually the wallet of someone in my fnf. when in reality, this kimchi guy bundled coins and launched 24/7 during the memecoin cycle and rugged you guys and you guys are calling him the goat and somehow he larped his way into the jews (alon) giving him a pumpfun deal because he posted pics/videos of his 80lb frame of a body wearing chrome and flexing in cars and private jets. Just making sure if i'm understanding it right.

Eli is directionally correct that lattice-crypto has more algebraic structure than hash-crypto and that this structure could theoretically be used to break it, altho i think the newness of lattices is a bit overstated.
Lattice crypto originally started as offensive cryptanalysis, not a defensive structure.
In cryptography, you generally want all-or-nothing systems. If I try to guess your password and I’m even one character off, I should get no clue about how close I was or which characters were correct.
In practice, this is difficult. For example, if I respond slightly slower depending on how many characters are correct, then you can use timing to gradually extract the complete password. This is where timing attacks come from.
Lattices are like vector fields but instead of taking any linear combination of the basis vectors (with real coefficients) you only accept integer coefficients. So you have some building blocks and you can combine them but not shrink or stretch them. It’s similar to how crystals have evenly spaced atoms in multiple dimensions.
The basic idea in lattice attacks is that you find a bunch of clues or partial solutions and make each one a basis vector. Then you try to find (“Learn”) a combination of them whose sum is small (Short Integer Solution, SIS), which simultaneously combines the partial solutions to make a complete solution.
This method can be used to attack elliptic curve signatures when the nonces used are biased, not uniformly distributed.
Lattice signatures and zk-proofs use similar ideas but defensively, to find problems that resist lattice attacks. Learning-With-Errors (LWE) essentially takes that short integer solution and adds noise to it so that an attacker cannot use straightforward linear algebra to solve it. Then you can prove you know the solution without revealing it by solving a related problem.
Hash-crypto works quite differently. It basically uses one-way functions (hashes) as a building block and you prove you know a secret by selectively revealing the inputs to a publicly-committed output.
Since hash-crypto doesn’t have any algebraic equations in its structure, people say it has less attack surface, which is true. The tradeoff is that you have much larger signatures and it doesn’t have nice threshold schemes or key exchange algorithms or encryption, which all rely on that missing algebraic structure.
Both hash-crypto and lattice-crypto rely on the security of hash functions, tho, so the reduction in attack surface is a clear win for hash-crypto.
It would be great if we just had full security-proofs for some crypto-system so we wouldn’t have to rely on heuristics like this, but that’s just where we are in our scientific knowledge as a species. Maybe AI will help us solve P =? NP and that will lead to provably secure systems.

Introducing: Starknet VIP Program
Get priority support, a direct line of contact with Starknet Foundation team, a confirmed spot at our events, and much more.
Built to support STRK and strkBTC holders and their journey on Starknet.
Find out if you qualify → vip.starknet.io
When $strk pumped ytd I had a few @Bybit_Official dual asset positions that were slightly in water, glad they redeemed just fine today 😮💨.
Also took the opportunity to entered into a bunch more juicy APR during the rally ytd (their max subscription per trade was low so had to do a bunch) @Starknet Slow and steady.
When you check your @papertrade_xyz positions and you’re up, but somehow disappointed cuz you can’t earn more $PAPER smh
Liquidations become less scary when you know you’re eligible for $paper 😭 degens be rolling the 1000x dice all dayyy @izebel_eth you savage
Day 2 of the @Bybit_Official VIP event 🌴
Been using their Dual Asset products religiously for the past two years, so it’s been great getting to know the team behind them.
Beyond the events, branding, and thoughtful gifts (the calligraphy tho 👀), I really appreciate having direct access to product leads who actually listen to user feedback, take suggestions seriously, and help users figure out how to make the most of their strategies.
Lots of good conversations and ideas to take away. Time to hit those next volume milestones! 🫶🏼🫡
If you’re sitting on ethereum:0xca14007eff0db1f8135f4c25b34de49ab0d42766 spot, @Bybit_Official dual asset strategy has ethereum:0xca14007eff0db1f8135f4c25b34de49ab0d42766 listed. A good way to size in (and out) whilst earning some yield. 😎
