Have you ever pulled full length videos off your OF feed and moved them behind a paywall? Did it hurt your subscriber count or help your income?

This goes into effect today but I'm already seeing sooo many posts on my timeline about how different platforms are handling this. CEO Society members have noticed impacts already but I want to know what you've noticed so far and how it's impacting you if you feel open to sharing below.
🚨 Update on UK content ban! From November 6, 2026, it’s a criminal offence in England and Wales to possess or publish adult content that explicitly and realistically depicts strangulation or suffocation, blood-relative content like father-daughter or brother-sister, or anyone who appears to be under 16. Content you posted years ago counts. Step and foster scenarios are caught too, but only where one person is, or is pretending to be, under 18. Step content between adults is not covered. The government is direct about what to do. Possession and publication are “continuing acts,” so if you already hold or are still hosting content in these categories, you have to permanently delete it or take it down before November 6 to avoid an offence once the law starts. The penalties: up to 2 years for possessing strangulation or blood-relative content, up to 3 years for content depicting someone who appears under 16, and up to 5 years for publishing any of it. One detail creators should know. The guidance lists defences, including one for a person who directly participated in the act shown. It isn’t blanket protection, other criteria apply, but performers in their own content are not automatically in the same position as someone randomly holding a file. And enforcement is being built to match. This week the government tapped the British Board of Film Classification, the body that rates films and DVDs in the UK, for a pilot program to monitor online adult content for illegal and extreme material, per Sky News. Called the Audit of Internet Services pilot, it tests whether online content can be monitored and reported at scale the way the BBFC handles films. The BBFC has actively sought the role and says it stands ready to take it on. This traces back to Baroness Gabrielle Bertin, who led the push for the ban in Parliament. Her February 2025 review recommended appointing a body like the BBFC to audit platforms hosting adult content. The law and the auditor are arriving together. These are criminal offences in England and Wales. What it means for a creator based elsewhere is a jurisdiction question the guidance doesn’t settle, and it’s untested for this new law. If you’re in England or Wales, or you knowingly sell or distribute there, take this one seriously and get proper advice before November 6. This is reporting, not legal advice. A film board may soon be auditing online adult content in the UK. Would clear written rules from a regulator make your work easier, or just hand them a bigger net? Sources: gov.uk, Sky News, XBIZ

The change that boosted my productivity in 2026 that I'm keeping in 2027 as an adult creator is time blocking in weeks rather than in hours. I used to block my days the way most people do where you set aside chunks for admin, editing, uploading etc. That way of doing things held up until a meeting landed in the middle of a filming day and cost me my entire day. I realized it's because task switching takes my brain so long to recover that very little ends up finished (can anyone else with ADHD relate?) Now I time block in weeks instead of days. So one week is admin. Planning, editing, uploading, emails, meetings, etc. The next week is creative. Filming full length videos and short form social content, shooting sexting sets, building the funnels that move social followers into subscribers, anything that needs me camera ready. Then I rotate. Admin, creative, admin, creative (you get the idea). Cutting my admin & meeting frequency to every other week gave me back hours and creative capacity I didn't realize I was spending. I also enjoy the process more now because I know what each week is going to ask of me. On a creative week I book my spray tan and get my nails done. On an admin week I sequester myself in my office, turn on the neon light behind my desk because for me that light is part of my whole clock in/lock in ritual. Try giving your brain one job per week and watch what happens to your output.

WARNING: I see @FetLife has updated their policies to: “restrict certain content from being viewed by people in the United Kingdom”. On strangulation and suffocation images they state that: “Pornographic pictures and videos that explicitly and realistically show one person strangling another (applying pressure to their neck) or suffocating them (blocking their breathing by covering their mouth and nose or compressing their chest).” This appears to reference the MoJ Guidance: gov.uk/guidance/crime-and-po… This guidance states that: “We consider that suffocation will generally mean depriving a person of air in a way that affects their ability to breathe.” However, government guidance is not binding on a court in interpreting legislation; and Section 106 of the Crime and Policing Act 2026 does not define what constitutes suffocation or strangulation: legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/202… Nevertheless, FetLife’s given examples of what their restrictions on strangulation and suffocation images do not include are: “Breath play done to yourself, Hands resting on someone's neck without applying pressure, Collars, chokers, or necklaces worn without applying pressure to the neck, Rope wrapped around someone's neck without applying pressure, Ball gags or other gags that don't restrict breathing, Hoods or masks that don't restrict breathing, Facesitting that doesn't restrict breathing, Someone sitting or lying on another person's chest without restricting their breathing”. BEWARE: these examples should not be relied upon, since it is for a court to decide, based on the images in question (the evidence) whether a possession or publication offence has been committed.

I understand that @clips4sale have emailed some UK content creators saying: “We’re reaching out because some of your clips are affected by new UK legislation taking effect November 6. We want to make sure you understand what’s changing, how it affects your store, and what options you have.” They state they identified these clips since: “We review both the video content and its details, including titles, tags, keywords, and descriptions. A clip may be flagged based on either the video itself or its metadata.”

If a platform takes 20% of everything you earn, I believe you're allowed to expect a working support inbox. Two week reply times shouldn't be the industry standard.

Porn is an unpopular thing to defend. Yet although England’s stricter rules will please moralists, they should alarm anyone who cares about freedom of speech or government overreach economist.com/leaders/2026/1…

Some creators upload constantly and grind every platform. Others barely post, auto schedule and make rent on that alone. There's no single correct version of this job and the one that doesn't burn you out is the one worth building.

OnlyFans couldn’t shake the chatter lawsuit and agencies running creator DMs are still on the hook. Fans say they paid to DM OnlyFans creators and were really talking to hired chatters. A federal judge let part of that lawsuit keep going, including claims against the agencies that run creator accounts. The fans are suing OnlyFans and the management agencies they say put chatters on creator accounts. Most of the case has already been thrown out, but on October 20th the judge let a few claims move forward. Against the agencies, the fans can keep arguing that they were misled about who they were talking to and that their personal info was shared with chatters. That second claim falls under a federal video privacy law, and the judge pointed to specifics like one fan’s $18 video purchase. Against OnlyFans, contract claims survived. The judge tied them to platform tools like mass messages, spending stats and a notes field for each fan. The lawsuit says chatters use those notes to hand fans off between shifts. The judge also said fans can only sue agencies that managed creators they actually paid for. OnlyFans and the agencies have until November 20 to answer.

One thing I learned about long calls is that breaking the session into a menu of add-ons instead of selling a flat hour makes it easier to pace and usually ends up earning more anyway. what's your strategy?

Do you think it's worth running another fansite alongside OF (or whatever your main one is) or does the extra workload cancel out the income it adds?

Question from the DMs: what do you actually say when a returning fan keeps asking for more without tipping after you've already made it clear tips are required for that?

Black Friday is 3 weeks out. If you’re already running on fumes, that’s not hustle, that’s a car on fire. I wrote about the lesson on why you can’t add a turbocharger to something that’s already burning. sexworkceo.substack.com/p/wh…
