What’s that? A spaceship among the rocks? ⛰️
Not quite. It’s the Monte Rosa Hut, 2,883 m up in the Swiss Alps.
Thanks to:
☀️ Solar power
🔋 215 kWh battery storage
🤖 Smart building tech
This hut is self-sufficient.
Not a spaceship. But pretty futuristic.
A new high-power charging station is live in Kufstein, Austria, on the Brenner route between Germany and Italy.
We built it with @omv. 🤝
Trucks can now charge from 20-80% in about 45 minutes, fast enough for a mandatory rest break. Ready for more routes? #eMobility
Previously on the Siemens and NVIDIA partnership... ⏪
Since 2022, Siemens and @NVIDIA have been combining Siemens’ industrial expertise, digital twin technology and software with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and software libraries to connect the real and digital worlds.

How do you manage a building you can't reach?
With Building X, the Monte Rosa mountain hut in Switzerland 🇨🇭 withstands the harshest weather and can be managed remotely even when nobody can reach it.

A glimpse of #SINUMERIK in the 1980s! ⏪
From precision control back then to today's intelligent, software-driven solutions, SINUMERIK has evolved alongside manufacturing.
What do you think has been the biggest leap in machine tool technology since then? 👇
We worked with P&G to create the Visual Inspection Cockpit — it combines deep learning with classical vision logic, adapting to product variations without manual reconfiguration.
Scalable across sites. Built for the people behind the products billions trust every day.
