Here is Ayodeji Akintade Ifeoluwa, popularly known as “AK,” whom we identified as one of the armed attackers who attempted to assassinate me and members of my team in Ado-Ekiti on October 30, 2026, openly participating in Thursday's campaign activities for Bola Ahmed Tinubu alongside executives of the Ekiti State chapter of the City Boys Movement!
This is the same individual we identified in video footage wielding a machete and violently attacking members of our team in broad daylight. Yet, to date, the Nigeria Police Force has not arrested him or publicly explained what investigative steps it has taken concerning his alleged involvement.
When the City Boy Movement Ekiti chapter hurriedly denied involvement in the attack, its leadership never imagined we would obtain video footage and identify individuals we believe participated in the violence.
Governor @biodunaoyebanji and his administration probably never anticipated that we would conduct our own independent investigation, uncover information linking individuals associated with his government to the attack, and trace phones and devices stolen from us to locations inside the Government House and Governor's Lodge in Ado-Ekiti.
When we publicly disclosed these findings, the authorities went quiet. They were shocked.
Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, Michael Falade, initially dismissed the attack as a mere "altercation." His officers subsequently removed CCTV equipment from the restaurant, which was later returned with its recordings erased. We have also received information of the involvement of DSS operatives in the handling of that evidence as well as tracking and disclosing our movements in Ekiti state.
When we released video footage showing the brutality of the attack, the police offered no satisfactory explanation. Instead, they hurriedly arraigned 11 persons before a Chief Magistrate's Court, where they were granted bail. None of those arraigned, to our knowledge, was among the principal attackers we publicly identified.
Now, "AK" is back on the streets campaigning for Tinubu alongside the very City Boys Movement executives whose involvement we have demanded be investigated!
No action has been taken against one ASIWAJU Kasali Oluwafemi @kasalioluwafem1 , the Ekiti State City Boys Movement leader whom we previously accused of issuing threats against me. He was gleefully celebrating the attacks on us because he had foreknowledge of it and was involved in planning it.
What about @Asefon_Sunday Asefon Sunday Dayo, former NANS President and Tinubu's aide on student engagement, whom our sources accuse of mobilizing and financing armed men for the attack with backing from Aso Rock Villa, assisted particularly by Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT's son-in-law, Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA).
Where is Sola Adenijo, popularly known as "Solar," whom we identified as a principal leader of the assailants on the ground? Sola is also the Treasurer of the #CityBoy Movement in Ekiti State.
What action has been taken concerning Makinde Araoye @mkdAraoye's organizer of the Ikogosi Marathon, who allegedly had prior knowledge of the attack?
What about CSP Ayodele Akinlua, Chief Security Officer to Governor Biodun Oyebanji, who warned hours before the violence that my safety could not be guaranteed?
And what about former RRS Commander CSP Marcus Olaosebikan Ogundola, whom our sources accuse of being present with police personnel during the attack and participating in efforts to interfere with CCTV evidence?
They are hoping this crime will disappear from public attention like so many other cases of political violence in Nigeria.
They are mistaken!

This is Ayodeji Akintade Ifeoluwa, popularly known as “AK,” the #CITYBOYS CSO in Ekiti State, one of the individuals we have identified as participants in the brutal assassination attempt against me and members of my team in Ado-Ekiti on October 30, 2026.
To date, the @PoliceNG has not arrested him, despite the video evidence and information we have provided.
Shockingly, we received information that he was in the company of police officers yesterday during Bola Ahmed Tinubu's campaign activities in Ado-Ekiti. #TinubuMustGo
MUST WATCH: My keynote address today at the Building Blocks for Peace Foundation event in Abuja, where I spoke on “Building Intergenerational Solidarity for the Future of Activism.” #RevolutionNOW
Once a political system has been corrupted from top to bottom, a revolution becomes the only path to fix it. A system rotten to its core cannot be repaired through “reforms;” it must be forcefully changed by the collective power of the people.
The court cases against political parties, at this point the @ADCNig, are part of Tinubu's strategic plans to confuse and dissuade Nigerians seeking to run against him. For some, his strategy is to use the courts, where his henchman, Nyesom Wike, pulls the strings.
Against those he cannot stop in court, he will deploy violence in some cases, using both methods.
Only revolutionary resistance can confront these wicked strategies.
Unfortunately, Tinubu @officialabat does not believe in democracy.
He (TINUBU) is a crooked political operative, but none of these desperate tactics can save him. Instead, they will eventually become the catalysts for the revolution that Tinubu himself will provoke, whether he likes it or not.

My keynote address today at the Building Blocks For Peace Foundation event, held at Dennis Hotel, Abuja, was themed “Building Intergenerational Solidarity for the Future of Activism.”
I spoke about the urgent need to bridge the generational divide, strengthen solidarity between veteran activists and emerging voices, and build a united movement capable of sustaining the struggle for justice, freedom, democracy, and lasting social change. #RevolutionNow
Earlier today, after I publicly disclosed the names and designations of those who sponsored, coordinated, and participated in the attempted assassination of me and members of my team in Ado-Ekiti last Friday, the Commander of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Ekiti State Police Command, Ogidan, hurriedly called me, claiming that the police suddenly needed my “statement.”
I was not surprised. This appears to be yet another attempt to create the impression that the police are conducting serious “investigations”, when everything we have witnessed so far points to a continuing cover-up.
I reminded Commander Ogidan that I had repeatedly tried, without success, to reach him for updates on the investigation after he suddenly hung up on me on Sunday when I first reached out to him. I then asked him straightforwardly. Have you arrested any of the individuals we publicly identified, particularly those whose faces were clearly captured in the video footage of the attack?
I specifically raised the involvement of the Ekiti State Rapid Response Squad (RRS), who we have identified as being on the scene; today, we learned that CSP Marcus Olaosebikan Ogundola, a retired police officer and former Commander, had led a contingent of RRS personnel to supervise and film the attack against us.
I also confronted him with our information linking police to the removal of the restaurant’s CCTV equipment in collaboration with DSS operatives.
I further asked Commander Ogidan how the police managed to arrest and arraign 11 suspects, who have reportedly now been granted bail, without first obtaining the very “statement” they suddenly claim is indispensable to their investigation.
How did they identify the suspects, conduct investigations, and take them to court without my statement, only to suddenly insist that they cannot proceed without it after we exposed the identities of those behind the attack?
Rather than provide clear answers, Commander Ogidan became evasive and eventually ended the call abruptly, as has become the pattern whenever we demand more information. #TinubuMustGo
State-sponsored thuggery become a feature of the build-up to the 2027 elections, fueled by the political intolerance of the @officialABAT Tinubu-led @OfficialAPCNg regime.
I strongly condemn the reported attack on @PeterObi’s convoy in Calabar. Political violence against anyone, regardless of party affiliation, must never be tolerated.
But don’t expect much from the @policeng or security agencies because of their complicity in political intimidation and violence.
Nigerians will not tolerate this reign of intimidation forever. The people will collectively rise in resistance against political violence, repression, and impunity soon. No regime can suppress the will of the people indefinitely! #RevolutionNow
Breaking: Arraignment of 11 persons over attempted assassination in Ekiti is a ruse and cover-up — Sowore names 12 individuals and officials for investigation; Insists on removal of Commissioner of Police Falade
Yesterday, the Ekiti State Command of the Nigeria Police Force purportedly arraigned 11 persons it claimed participated in the brutal attack and attempted assassination of me and members of my team at Tawakalitu Restaurant in Ado-Ekiti on Friday, October 30, 2026.
For the avoidance of doubt, none of the principal perpetrators we have publicly identified have been arrested, let alone brought before a court to answer for the attack.
We consider this arraignment a calculated diversion from the serious crime of attempted murder and an apparent attempt to shield those who planned, sponsored, coordinated and executed the attack.
Our internal investigations have identified 12 individuals and officials whose actions, associations and possible involvement require urgent, independent criminal investigation.
1. Biodun Abayomi @biodunaoyebanji , Governor of Ekiti State, must answer questions concerning allegations linking individuals associated with his administration to the attack, particularly following our tracing of stolen devices to locations around the Governor's Lodge and Office.
2. CSP Ayodele Akinlua, Chief Security Officer to the Governor, must explain the warning attributed to him hours before the attack that my safety could not be guaranteed if I proceeded with political activities in Ekiti State.
3. CP Falade Adegoroye Michael, Commissioner of Police, Ekiti State, must account for his command's initial characterization of the attack as a mere altercation, its handling of the crime scene, the removal of CCTV equipment and allegations concerning the suppression or destruction of critical evidence.
4. The Ekiti State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS) and relevant operatives must be investigated over allegations that DSS personnel provided location intelligence and operational assistance to the armed attackers.
5. Adenijo Sola, popularly known as "Solar," has been identified through information gathered by our team as an alleged leader of the armed attackers; he was on the scene of the attack. His reported relationship with individuals connected to the Ekiti State Government and the Managing Director of the Federal Housing Authority requires investigation.
6. Omotuyi Temitope, alias Tope Jinadu Small, and other identified individuals associated with the Ekiti State chapter of the City Boys Movement must be questioned about their involvement in the attack.
7. Sunday Adedayo @Asefon_Sunday, former NANS President, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu, and National Director of Student Engagement of the City Boys Movement, must be investigated for information concerning his alleged association with identified attackers and involvement in planning the attack.
8. Olayinka @OYEBODEOLAYINKA , Chief Press Secretary to Governor Oyebanji, should be questioned about the circumstances surrounding the state government's statement dismissing our allegations and attacking my credibility and exonerating the attackers.
9. Makinde @mkdAraoye and other organizers of the @ikogosimarathon must be questioned about their actions before and after the attack, including the circumstances surrounding my exclusion from the event and any relevant information they possessed about threats to my safety.
10. Ayodeji Akintade Ifeoluwa, popularly known as "AK,” identified as Publicity Secretary of the Ekiti State City Boys Movement, has been linked by our team to footage of the violent attack wielding a machete and butchering one of our team members. The original recordings must be independently examined to establish the identities and actions of those captured.
11. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), must be investigated over information received by our team concerning his alleged connections to individuals implicated in the attack, including Sola Adenijo, also known as “Solar.”
12. Lere @OlayinkaLere, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has also been named in information received by our team concerning the attack.
These 12 individuals and officials have been identified for investigation based on information gathered by our team. Their inclusion will hasten the investigations.
The Nigeria Police Force must explain why the principal individuals we have identified have not been brought in for questioning, why CCTV recordings were reportedly wiped from equipment removed from the restaurant, and what has become of the phones and other devices stolen during the attack.
We demand the immediate disclosure of the charges filed against them and the evidence linking them to the attack, including why the victims of the attack were not contacted before arraignment.
We further demand the immediate removal or suspension of CP Falade Adegoroye Michael pending an independent investigation into his command's handling of the case.
The Inspector-General of @PoliceNG must constitute an independent investigative team, secure and forensically examine all available CCTV recordings, recover the stolen devices, preserve electronic and communications evidence, and investigate everyone credibly linked to planning, financing, executing, or concealing the attack.
Arraigning 11 persons does not amount to justice if those who organized and sponsored the violence remain untouched. We will not accept a cosmetic prosecution designed to create the appearance of accountability while the central questions remain unanswered.
Every person against whom credible evidence of criminal involvement is established must be prosecuted, regardless of political office, security position or personal connections.
THIS IS A RUSE AND A COVER-UP. WE DEMAND JUSTICE, NOT A STAGED INVESTIGATION!

From Hungary to Serbia and Brazil, and MAYBE the US, people are challenging authoritarianism, resisting repression, and demanding democratic accountability. Across the world, citizens are showing that political change is possible.
Nigeria can do the same! The future of our country must be determined by the people, not by those who believe political power is their birthright.
IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO WAKE UP AND FLIP THE SCRIPT AGAINST THE ODBs IN NIGERIA!

VIDEO: Today, we visited the Force Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force (@PoliceNG) in Abuja to confront the authorities over their failure to take decisive action following the egregious assassination attempt against members of my team and me in Ado-Ekiti last Friday.
Revolutionaries besieged the @PoliceNG headquarters in Abuja to send an unmistakable message: the police cannot cover up for the armed assailants who attempted to assassinate us in Ado-Ekiti!
The brutal attack was captured on video, and we are demanding the identification, arrest, and prosecution of everyone involved, including those who sponsored and coordinated the violence.
No cover-up! No protection for the perpetrators! Justice must be served!

VIDEO: Today, we were in court to face charges we know were deliberately designed to derail our #Sowore2027 presidential campaign. We also had to visit the Nigeria @Policeng Force, an institution that should be investigating serious crimes but whose handling of the brutal attack against us in Ekiti State has raised grave concerns about a cover-up.
From the courtroom to police headquarters, the revolutionary struggle for justice continues!

The lawless @OfficialDSSNG ruins people's lives through trumped-up charges, arbitrary detention and persecution of innocent citizens, only to turn around and offer paltry sums disguised as compensation.
Then comes the propaganda machinery, compromised media personalities, NGOs, and social media trolls lining up to praise the ego-crazed DSS Director-General, Tosin Ajayi, for his supposed benevolence!
This is precisely the mentality behind @LemmyUghegbe's outrageous suggestion that the DSS could kill anyone it wanted but has graciously chosen not to.
There is something profoundly wrong with people who expect Nigerians to thank a security agency for violating their fundamental right to life! #RevolutionNow

“You and I know, and I think many Nigerians know, that the DSS has the capacity, if they are interested in doing anything untoward to Sowore. More than anything else, the DSS has been graceful.”
Graceful? Since when did the capacity of a security agency to harm a citizen become evidence of its benevolence? #RevolutionNow
