We're making housing more affordable by:
🏠 Removing the full 13% HST from new homes
🏗️ Cutting development costs to help build homes faster and more affordably
Together, these measures could save homebuyers up to $200,000 off the cost of a new home.
Families in St. Thomas will be able to save up to $135,961 on the purchase of a new home through the Development Charge Reduction Program and HST Rebate.
Working with our federal and municipal counterparts, our government will continue creating the conditions for more people to achieve their dreams of homeownership.

We’re keeping our promise to protect workers from tariffs and secure the jobs of the future - right here in Ontario.
Through a landmark $8.7B agreement with the federal government, we’re building roads to the Ring of Fire, strengthening Ontario’s critical minerals supply chain, and protecting Ontario's steel and auto workers from U.S. tariffs.

We are on a mission to build big across rural Ontario — including the Bruce C project that will create over 10,000 jobs, with 95% of investment staying in Canada.
Western Ontario helps power our economy - from farms and small businesses to major industries supporting good-paying jobs.
