ALT Text overlaid on the previous image: Help clear the leaves In autumn, we all need to do our part to keep sidewalks, planting strips, and gutters clear where we live or own a business. This is important because keeping sidewalks clear of fallen leaves and overgrown vegetation makes it easier for everyone to get around, while reducing slipping risks when the sidewalk gets wet or frozen. It also helps to prevent flooding when storm drains get clogged with too many leaves.

ALT The image shows two scenes. In the first, a brightly lit road at night is blocked with traffic cones and a vehicle displaying the message "ROAD CLOSED." In the background, city lights are visible. In the second scene, emergency equipment, including traffic cones, chains, tools, and an "EMERGENCY SCENE AHEAD" sign, is displayed on the ground in front of a " Incident Response" vehicle.

ALT The image consists of two parts. The top part shows SRT crew members standing in front of a display screen labeled "Crew of the Year Nominees," with SDOT Acting Director Angela Brady. In the bottom part, a SDOT Customer Care worker is seated at a desk with multiple monitors, wearing a headset and focused on the screen.

ALT The same image with text overlaid. The text says: Staying alert in darker, rainier conditions Shorter days and rain mean visibility drops. Watch out for people walking, rolling, scooting, and biking. Wet streets take longer to stop on. Follow the speed limit, drive with care, and look out for others so everyone gets to where they’re going safely.

ALT A "before and after" image in the style that SDOT posts for street improvements. In this improvement, no changes are made to the street. However, in the after image, dozens of people gather on the street to celebrate Halloween. The spot normally occupied by the Seattle Transportation Levy photo is instead a Trick-or-Streets logo.
