Senate Republicans have blocked countless measures to improve the lives of Pennsylvania's families for far too long. Measures to increase pay, reduce costs, expand opportunities, and grow our economy have languished in committee due to Senate Republicans' inaction.

Eight years ago today, we suffered the deadliest act of antisemitism in American history when a killer entered Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh while people prayed and murdered 11 of our neighbors.
It’s been 2,922 days since the attack, but the pain still lingers in our Commonwealth. Today we offer prayers of comfort to those touched by this violence.
Let today be a moment for action, remembrance, and resolve to combat antisemitism in all forms.
May the memories of Joyce Fienberg, Richard Gottfried, Rose Mallinger, Jerry Rabinowitz, Cecil Rosenthal, David Rosenthal, Bernice Simon, Sylvan Simon, Daniel Stein, Melvin Wax, and Irving Younger forever be a blessing.
Today, in mourning and in solidarity, we mark 8 years since the horrific murders at Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill. May the memories of the eleven beloved worshippers who were killed be a blessing, and may we always unite against hatred in all its forms.

Make your plan to vote TODAY! This weekend, October 24 & 25, you can return your mail-in ballot to a staffed ballot return location. You can also vote over-the-counter, where you request, complete, and return your ballot all at once. Thanks for being a voter this year!
I was incredibly honored today to attend a ribbon cutting for Penn Lincoln Apartments, which provide 41 affordable housing opportunities to Allegheny County residents. Delivering safe, affordable housing for every Pennsylvanian is a top priority of the Senate Democrats.

No one can survive in 2026 making $7.25 an hour. Let me put that in real terms: If you work a 40-hour work week, that’s a little over $15,000 a year. That’s not sustainable.
Despite that fact, another legislative session has come and gone — and while the House has voted repeatedly to raise the minimum wage, Republicans in the State Senate left town again and refused to even bring a minimum wage bill up for a vote.
It’s not okay. It’s time to raise the minimum wage in Pennsylvania.

There’s one reason — and one reason only — why the minimum wage here in Pennsylvania is still $7.25:
The @PASenateGOP.
And they just left town AGAIN without getting it done.

Did you know? More than half of all Pennsylvania mail ballots have already been returned, and the mail ballot return rate is higher this year than it was four years ago.
Make sure you return your ballot as soon as it's ready so your voice can be heard!
You can return it by USPS or by delivering it in-person at a county designated location: vote.pa.gov/returnballot
