"Cold calling is dead." We hear it all the time.
We disagree.
Calling without context is dead.
That's why SmartDialer brings phone calls directly into your outreach sequence.
So when it's time to call, your reps already know the full story:
✅ Every email sent
✅ Every open
✅ Every reply
Better context. Better conversations.
Try SmartDialer and see what's changed👇

Most sales teams are leaving meetings on the table because they're afraid to pick up the phone.
@MattLucero_ , Founder of Anevo Marketing, explains how calling leads who've already replied to your cold emails can almost double your booked meetings.

No more silent failures.
Which means no more finding out a week later that a lead’s reply never made it to your CRM. 😬
Until now, there wasn’t an easy way to catch that inside Smartlead.
So we built Webhook Activity, and it’s live now.
Here’s what you can do with it:
→ See every webhook Smartlead sends, and whether it actually went through
→ Find out why one failed, explained in plain words
→ Resend a failed one yourself, with one click
And if an endpoint keeps failing for 7 days, we’ll switch it off and email you, so it doesn’t keep failing quietly in the background.
Take a look under Settings → Webhook → Activity 👀
Some things are just too good to keep to ourselves.
Like what Krista Poth from Limadata had to say about Smartlead. 🥹
But we'll let you hear it from her.
Thanks for the love, Krista! 💜
SF might have more AI billboards than coffee shops.
And they all sound the same.
Only one made me stop.
@Smartlead didn’t explain anything, just put up a live counter of emails being sent.
Lesson for founders: you don’t need a better description.
You need one real number.
Nice work, @ankitLeadplus! 🙌

An agency was getting a 2.3% reply rate while sending 250 cold emails a day.
Now, they want to scale to 1,000 a day without ruining their deliverability.
For context, they’d just moved to a fresh private IP after their old setup stopped working.
Here’s how they’re scaling without rushing it:
1. Warm up before scaling. Start with 14 days of warmup, then send 10–15 cold emails per mailbox per day. Give the reply rate a couple more weeks to settle before increasing volume.
2. Take it slow. Start with 10–15 emails per mailbox a day. Watch the replies for two weeks before sending more.
3. Keep each mailbox under control. Cap every mailbox at 20 emails a day. Need more volume? Add more mailboxes instead of pushing each one harder. To send 1,000 emails a day, you’ll need at least 50 mailboxes.
4. Increase volume gradually. Go from 250 → ~500 → ~700 → 1,000 emails a day over about three weeks. Only move up when sending health stays stable.
5. Don’t stop warmup. Keep sending 7–10 warmup emails a day, with a 50–60% reply rate. Not 100%, because real inboxes don’t reply to every email.
6. Don’t ignore out-of-office replies. Their actual reply rate is 2–2.3%. Include OOO replies, and it jumps to 4–4.5%. An OOO reply still tells you the email reached an inbox.
Most teams are happy with a 1% reply rate.
They’re getting roughly double that, and they’re still scaling.
Save this for your next cold email ramp. 🔖 🔖
We sat down with @yasser_elsaid_, founder of @chatbase , who built a profitable AI business without raising VC funding.
His take? why use AI just to hire fewer people when you can build things that weren't possible before?
We also got into why building an AI demo is easy, but making it work for real customers is a whole different story.

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC can all pass, and your emails can still bounce.
So, if you’re suddenly seeing more bounces than usual, don’t jump to the conclusion that something’s wrong with your domains.
Before changing anything in your setup, there are a few things you should check first.
Here’s a simple 7-point checklist:
Things we're ghosting this October 👻
👻 Manual DNS setup
👻 Editing campaigns one by one
👻 Switching between inboxes
👻 Juggling tools for email, LinkedIn & calls
👻 Waiting weeks to start sending
👻 Replacing failing mailboxes manually
Your turn. 👇

There's a strange thing about startup billboards in SF:
companies announce how much money they've raised
(as if funding were the achievement)
meanwhile @smartlead_ai puts up a billboard saying:
"25,000 mails sent while you read this"
much more interesting flex:
- funding tells you what investors believe a company might become
- usage tells you what its product is already doing
Neither guarantees a great business
But we've somehow reached a point where raising money gets more attention than building something people actually use :/
With Smartlead MCP, your team can just ask Claude, Codex, Grok Bot, Cursor about campaign performance, sending limits, or paused campaigns.
