1/ 10,000+ downloads. One SDK. Now with programmable privacy.
Starkzap has integrated STRK20, bringing shielded balances, private transfers, and private DeFi to its complete money toolkit.
A new way for developers to bring privacy into their apps 🧵
StarkWare retweeted
I’ve been talking about privacy, post quantum security, l1 thesis and few apps that we’ve been building over at starkware at few panels and key notes in the past few days.
it was extremely a pleasure talking about all of it and the more i zoom out, the more bullish i get on the private programmable post quantum secure l1, starknet.
programmable zec coded.
trillions.
1/ Starknet is the only network to pass all 8 cryptographic agility checks.
It's also in the lower-exposure, lower-friction group on our post-quantum migration map.
But it's not fully quantum-safe yet. Here's what's ready and what's missing 🧵
8/ One major dependency remains: Ethereum.
Starknet's data blobs rely on Ethereum's quantum-vulnerable KZG commitments.
This is why we're exploring migrating Starknet to its own independent L1.

Should Starknet become an independent L1?
It's time for the community to have its say.
STRK stakers and delegaters can now participate in the first, non-binding governance vote on this potential transition 👇

9/ The main takeaway?
Starknet can seamlessly upgrade its cryptography to become fully post-quantum secure. We’re not there yet, but we’re aiming to complete the transition by 2027.

2018: The original STARK paper is published.
2021: Starknet launches, using STARKs to scale Ethereum.
2021: Facebook open-sources Winterfell, a general-purpose STARK prover and verifier.
2026: Google & Europol highlight STARKs in their research on post-quantum blockchain security.
2026: Anthropic builds on STARK cryptography to make AI inference verifiable with FlashProve.
Very interesting trajectory.
4/ With Starkzap, developers can access Starknet's DeFi and privacy tools through a single SDK, without having to piece together multiple integrations.
Adding privacy to your app is now as simple as one line of code:
> npm install starkzap
5/ So, what are you waiting for to bring privacy to your users' lives?
From wallets and financial apps to entirely new onchain experiences, Starkzap makes building on Starknet easier than ever.

In 2018, our founders invented STARKs. We then put them into production to scale blockchains and bring privacy onchain.
Now Anthropic is building on that same cryptography to make AI inference verifiable.
Love seeing STARK research find new applications beyond blockchains.
New Anthropic research: progress on provable inference for large language models.
Here, we introduce FlashProve. Building on established cryptographic techniques, FlashProve allows developers to verify whether a given response came from a given AI model. It’s substantially more efficient than prior open-source methods for doing so.
These proofs have a range of applications. They can, for instance, make it harder for attackers to hijack a chat, or enable safety evaluators to verify that the model they’re testing is the same one being served to customers.
For our full write-up, see here: anthropic.com/research/prova…
Further progress in provable inference will likely be an important part of improving trust in AI deployment. To that end, we're open-sourcing FlashProve’s code, here: github.com/anthropics/FlashP…

Anthropic is using cryptography StarkWare’s founders co-invented to prove which AI model answered you.
With FlashProve, you can verify that a specific model produced an output while keeping its weights private.
The report cites the original STARK paper, highlights the use of STARKs on @Starknet, and references formal verification work on Cairo and the S-two AIR. StarkWare co-founder Alessandro Chiesa is one of the report’s co-authors.
Another big validation for our Proving System.
The same cryptographic ideas that help scale blockchains are now helping make AI inference verifiable.
